I'm using nokia map and garmin XT in my 6210 nav,garmin XT is more detailed and friendly user compare to nokia map 2.0 but i guess nokia map is still consider new in gps section and will be improve in the future base on data speed and accurate but featured digital compass is indeed nice using.

i have a Nokia 6210 navigator,
regarding the Navigation do i need GPRS activation for which i have to pay 350 rupees/month
or i need Airtel Live for which i don not have to pay anything unless i download anything.
kindly explain me what do i need for my Navigator to work (GPRS or Airtel LIVE)

Hayden, 20 Oct 2008I currently have a 6110 Navigator and I'm thinking of getting a 6210 to replace it. Can anyone... moreI have both phones - 6110 + 6210 - and thinking returning the 6210, because of its lousy sound and bluetooth crackles everytime you get Map/road directions.
I will try to find out if I have a defectiv 6210 unit, but I'm almost sure that Nokia is using one bad/cheap loudspeaker in the 6210, while the 6110 had two good ones...
They also removed the 'voice command dedicated button' - this function is now available through the upper right button - making it impossible to use (activating bluetooth, for instance)if you're inside any phone application (Maps 2.0, included)!

To answer a few questions the 6 ... moreYou surely never used the 6110 Navigator, which in terms of sound (amongst other) is a much better device.
In fact, I own both and strongly considering returning the 6210...

I have had this phone for just a few days and am generally pleased with the style and layout. However, when replying and sending text messages, the phone screen freezes for several seconds and then takes about 15 to 20 seconds to actually send the message. Is this normal or could it be the start of its downfall? Anyone got any sensible advice please before I contact my provider?

I got the 6210 Navigator for a week now and it's so far a very good phone and i used a E65 before the navigator and the 6210 is a very nice phone.

i can recommend this phone coz since av started to sell this i ddnt get any cusomer coming bak saing this phone doent do and that .this phone is very gud.to the person who asked abwt the changing of the face ,yes u can visit any vodashop or vodacare next to you our smiling sales assistants will help .guys enjoy this phone i like it.

hey hey.. GPS-6months lisence.. That means u get 6months voice guidance... After da 6mnths the navigating still works...but just no voice navi... U can purchase da license at Nokia.. The camera is very good for a 3.2mp.. Its got the latest symbian0S. Music is good... I am very happy with it. No probs!

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2008I am using both garmin nuvi 600 and nokia 6210. 6210 loaded with garmin xt ver 4.2 is suff if ... moreIve used garmin xt on my n80 with no problems , works very well , now using it on 6210 with internal gps hack , although I have a xt bluetooth , works just as good as a garmin dedicated device , but , Tomtom is still the best ! , I use it the most on my 6210.

Go for 6210. It has a newer OS and it takes better pictures that are similar to n78. The music via headphones is really loud like n81. Another plus is that the gps is more sensitive than the e66. Other than that they are basically the same in terms of battery life, accelerometer, size, etc.

E66 is much better than 6210navi..because it has got good battery life..i used more than a year and i didnt find even a single problem..
while talking about the battery..its all upto the usage of a person...for me e66 last upto 3days..and with online mode it lasts for 2 days..
so go for e66..

ok, its enough...
finally i go for this phone, about idr 3.800.000
and the next day, i re-sell this phone. i lost about idr 500.000
shameful camera, even 2mp of sony's k660 camera can get better... specially in room using..so baadd...
sound, nothing special, 5610 can get much better...
i don't believe with that price and that quality
now i'm going for sony c702... gps phone with excellent camera... and....... usd 100 cheaper...
nokia... pls bring my money back....
nokia.. i hate u...
