kuboo, 27 Jul 2008why does nokia charge for agps? do they pay u.s. d.o.d. for maintaining the gps infrastructure... moreCome to think of it, how could Nokia charge end users using GPS? Is it the mobile operator instead?
kuboo, 27 Jul 2008why does nokia charge for agps? do they pay u.s. d.o.d. for maintaining the gps infrastructure... morethey dont charge for the gps or the agps. Those are both free. You are also allowed to download any software to be use with the gps. Nokia has made its own gps software that is also free but certain extras require a fee. These extras are available for six months on this phone. the only time you would have to pay money is if you want the extras after the six months

Do we have to pay a licence to use the GPS, or it is free like Nokia 6110 Navigator.

great!!
you really cant compare this phone with G810 because this is not a high end phone like G810, this is marketed as a mid range phone.
Go picked on N96, N95 and N82 samsung fans because G810 is marketed in the same bracket with those three, its just that G810 cant win againts Nokia heavyweights c",
