bernberne, 03 Sep 2008Hi ppl. Does anyone knows is this phone fitted with wifi ? it's not on specs, but Orange websi... moreIt has no wifi. N79 will have, but will come very late. Agree with all that ask now for REVIEW of 6220 classic. I need the info.
Dying to have a review on this.
BTW.... I used this phone at my friend's party. It was great usiing for 5 minutes. Battery time is really good. The UI is completely Animated, giving a touch of iPhone. The Music player sound is not so Loud but Acceptable. The Camers result is really good, but some problem with flash, you have to enable it manually to get good pictures in some conditions. All in All, The Nokia Tone Is Really KOOOOOOOOOOOL. With piano and background Music. I was thinking of buying E51 but now i am Surely Buying This one. A really Good new generation phone.
its funny that people have gone quiet about new sofrware thats as there is not 1 yet eg julie
hello i own a 6220classic, iv had it 1month and 2 days ,it going to nokia due to the fact that dust is getting in behind the screen. those of you who buys this this keep in mind that you can only as for a change over phn before 30days is up., nokia claims they can fix this problem with the dust but i will wait and see., the red light while recordind a video is crap and the battery life is crap aswell, so look hard and real close b4 u buy this phn .

dirk digger, 02 Sep 2008It has become a real guessing game if the 6220 classic will be featured here or not at all. So... moreN79 true video spec should be higher it is Nseries not classic, by the way if anyone wants mine let me know!
It has become a real guessing game if the 6220 classic will be featured here or not at all. So do it already gsmarena! C'mon, heed the call of the people. Review the darned thing now!
we need a review on this. On Nokia-site spec's say the videoresolution of N79 is higher. correct?
It's good Phone, TFT scrren is too good, silent facility & rotating is nice, but only drawback is navigation is 6 months limited.
Does this camera have optical zoom. Whats the zoom level on this camera. GSM please do a review on this phone. How is this phone as compared to N95.
Is the navigation on this phone free or do you have to pay for it after 6 months like the 6120
I got this phone on Saturday for free on a $49 cap plan with 3 mobile (I'm in Australia). The choice of phones was this, or the N95 8GB. I chose this because I don't like slide phones and I wanted something small and light. The interface takes a little getting used to at first, but is actually very user friendly. Some people complain about the keypad, but I love the solid feel of the keys, very responsive and good for texting. The only thing it lacks in comparison to the N95 is Wi-Fi, but my iPod touch has Wi-Fi if I really really needed it (not that I would ever use it though), so this isn't a problem for me. The battery life is a bit disappointing, I fully charged it on Saturday night when I got it and it only lasted about 36 hours, you do need to charge it every night if you plan to use it a bit during the day.
