I bought this phone after extensive research. Wanted something to replace my SEK770i (which I had bought after SEk750i) which strated to give some problems. I still have my K750i which is still working properly (exception - the joystick) and has one of the best keys ever.
After reading all reviews from number of sites, the main problem which came accross was the "cheap keys" on Nokia 6220. I went ahead bought it as it was best in class for the price (paid USD 280 for it). I assure everyone that it is an excellent phone allround. The keys are bit of issue but you get used to it however the sound quality especially speaker are excellent. Very good camera and has useful applications.

without wifi... not acceptable.... memory should be at least 16 gigs.... 8 gigs nowadays is available in every lil' phone.... above all wifi is a must..... camera is cool... i would overall rate it as an average phone..... :)

Have bought this phone and i think it is a masterpiece.It is a fully loaded phone with great features and priced modestly compared to n series.
If you want a great functional phone this is it.
it looks far better when in ur hand than on the web.Also great keypad plus it is feather light.i would recomend this to every user.

Ashish, 29 Dec 2008is there a 3.5mm headfone jack or the normal one?There's no 3.5 mm audio jack, just 2.5 mm, but you can easily use a 2.5 to 3.5 adaptor, so that you may be able to use the headphones of your choice.

Any one else having problems with the font size on the 6220 c? I got it set to large but it still seems much smaller compared to past Nokias!

T... morehi timsan when you say The keypad tended to lift away from the body of the phone what do you mean exactly? when my keypad is lightend up and look around the keypad on the bottom of number 0 and the * keys i can see light and under them is this what you talking about?

well~6XXX series spec is good~however the battery is kindda WEAK!!!
if for the traveler like me~i'll prefer E series for it~at least no need to charge it all of the time~

I recently bought Nokia 6220 and I want to ask if other users have issues with its camera.Whenever I use autofocus, the images become darker compared when I don't use autofocus.Another thing is,my sister owns an N95, and N95 and 6220 are supposed to have the same Carl Zeiss 5 megapixel camera spec,but my 6220 is noticeably inferior to N95 when it comes to colors being realistic,for example the yellow and green looks pale in my 6220 compared to N95. Do other users have these same issues?

i m using dis phone 4 lst month i enjoyed it alot .before dis i was using n96 but when i used dis phone forgot that .this is the best phones nokia have made .
