Oh ya... my previous post would probably answers Wilbert's question. Yes, the PCSuite lets you choose which Memory to use.
BTW, I'm using PC Suite 6.2 - the latest ver. 6.4 is available in Nokia.com.
Celtic, if you're using PCSuite, you'd probably be using the File Transfer module. When up-loading into the phone, drag yr file into the Memory B. Another software to meddle around with your phone is MobiMB.
I just upgrade my MMC to 128Mb. It works faster. A huge plus is: My phone used to die off if the folder selection is the MMC when using Voice Recorder. It's history now! So, conclusion, the Nokia's bundled 32Mb MMC is crap.
Here are what I think are the Current best phones:
1.Nokia 6230[bluetooth,MMC,IR,Stero MP3,Radio,Camera,EDGE]
2.Nokia 7610[Megapixel Camera,bluetooth,Mono MP3,MMC,Symbian OS,EDGE]
3.Nokia 6260[bluetooth,IR,MMC,Radio,VGA Camera,Symbian OS]

i believe so yes, even tho i havent used the PC Suite just yet but i will soon, it would b stupid if u couldnt decide whether handset or mem card, i hope that answers ur question..
oh and to glass, i'd love to post my opinion on the current top 10 phones, i'll have a look around and post it asap.
ey guys..i need your help!!please list down your TOP 10 mobile phones for 2004..
I need this for my mobile phone article.. every body can list their top 10 choices..Ill just compile them. thanks a lot
A very nice phone!worth getting though a little square...guess because its a classic!
Come on this phone so good, just buy it.Dont think so much ! Believe me !
Although this phone's memory is expandable, it ugly. the joystick fifth utton is sooooo hard to click in games. I HATE THE JOYSTICK. i recommend the K700i although the memory is not expandable, it has a bigger screen, a better joystick, and great interactive menu.
to mAz or to any 6230 user,
tnx for the reply. anyway i would just like to know if you transfer files from your pc to your phone, does the PC suite let you decide on which memory (phone mem. or MMC card) you would like to put that particular file?
to all u opinionated 6230 inquirers/users,
i am so glad to read of people writing in saying that the camera is not a selling point, as said by NokiaMia, finally someone talking some sense, obviously this fone isnt going to give u digital camera quality photos, i cant think of a fone that can beat a good Canon digital camera, and i doubt there is one. i am 2 looking for different ways to transfer files from my pc to my phone, and so far a USB cable sounds like the best option, it's safe, and reliable in comparison to Blue Tooth for all those wondering, being a N6230 user i kno wat i'm talkin about not nerds giving their opinion, until next time..
when i transfer the files it says there isnt enough space how do i change it to save in in the memory card
**HELP!** i'm planning to load mp3s, movies and pics on my 6230 from my pc.. i want to load files from my pc to my 6230 or vice versa, faster and smoother so i prefer buying a bluetooth for my pc. its the best choice instead of buying a usb cable for my phone, right?
Hey there Celtic.
Download yr mp3 into the phone via BT by using Nokia's PC Suite: File Transfer Module. Personally I use the mem-card reader to d/load huge files e.g. mp3.
