well, pretec is good, so is ATP, but most of the cards 256MB and below are working great... if you will buy 512MB card stick with PRETEC, ATP, HITACHI,and EXPANSYS branded cards... 6230 users have tested these cards, for 128, 64, 32 get any card that you can find, except those from Kodak

Can u tell which brand MMC is the best so far for nokia.(roughly the price)
some of them say kingmax,ATP,etc.
eg:32mb which brand is the best?
64mb which brand is the best?
128mb which brand is the best?

Hi,
This is for all who are having trouble transfering files to MMC. You can transfer files directly to MMC without buffering in the phones memory by doing the following steps.
After installing the PC Suite on the computer, go to My computer (Make sure phone is connected to the PC), click on the nokia browser then click the nokia 6230 icon(If the phone is not connected to the computer this, nokia 6230 may not appear, so make sure it is connected through infra or USB). Then click the gallery folder and in that there will be many folders out of which one is Memory Card Folder. You simply copy paste the file into that folder and it will be saved directly on the MMC card. I have transfered 12MB video files as well!! and it works.
After the file has transfered check in the MMC through the phone if the file is there.

It records video with sound... and there's no zoom for the camera or video.

u can listen your mp3 and radio throught the loud speaker.BUT for radio, U must connect ur headset first and after that, u click option-Loudspeaker

Just Got a Few Questions about the 6230. 1. Can u listen to your mp3's and the radio throught the loud speaker 2. when u record a video does it record sound with the video and finally 3. how much can u zoom 4x or 2x

After u have taking photo.u can zoom the picture.quality picture is great.when u click zoom, the picture is very clear n not blur

Has anyone tried sending a mp3 via bluetooth from your pc to the 6230, i cant transfer any files above 5mb, Which is a pain as good mp3 file start @ about 5mb.
