a really tough phone. my mum had it for a few years. passed it onto me and i had it for 1-2 years and it still works great. Nothing's wrong with it yet.

BEST PHONE I've ever had... Proud owner of the 6230 for over 4 years now. Tough, reliable, so user-friendly, packed with features, was the best phone back then and still stands out today.. Everything still works perfectly on my 6230, using a 1GB memory card in it, have dropped it countless times yet it still stands!! Only problem I've had is with the battery, last year it started playing up so I replaced it but the new one isn't that good either, battery will just about last me a full day if am lucky, but I don't mind!! Love this phone, don't think I'll ever give it up.

They did do an upgrade to the 6230 its called the 6230i. It has an upgraded camera and a few other things. Here is the spec http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_6230i-1087.php

Nokia 6230 is one of the best cell phone which has come in my use. It is durable, elegent and most efficient. Nokia should lounch an upgraded verision of 6230.

THE BEST fone i ever had.. had it for over 2years now and its still working perfectly.. Best of its generation i MUST say.. there's fones out now with beter camera and memory etc etc but for its generation.. THE BEST

I loved this handset and miss it loads , I was really happy with this and in my opinion this is one of nokias best ever handsets bring it back
