Well, that's interesting 'cause in one of your messages you just suddenly started to praise how great land Sweden is. I didn't really get the point then for doing that, except being overly patriotic. Either way you must be from Denmark (or Norway) then.

Klaas, what the heck... Is that some sort of a jedi language or what? I'm puzzled. Please stay on Swedish forums, I know there are many of them, like at the pricerunner.se. We can continue our debate there. In Swedish.

            Finnished.

You do not let make wise through other forums, for they give your wrong information about the device.

The MP3 player is not of high quality, that garbage of others must you do not believe. I say yourself only that the 6230 reasonable MP3 quality has, but not high what one maintained.

I know that the 6230 small apparatus am, but the K700i is a little smaller and better panel, that know I certainly than I good compares.

One says that the K700i many time better MP3 quality has also for the radio.

What I can say is that you better self can judge what you find out.

Im planning to buy the 6230, but my problem is that I need loads of memory for my contacts/address book.. Can some 6230 user could tell me whether I can store my phonebook on the MMC?? Or is the phone book limited to 1000 names shown on the data sheet. I basically want to dispose my PDA and want to rely on the 6230 alone for the purpose. I have loads of contacts data and Im currently using 6100 which gives me only 300 names on the phone (which is 100% used) and 250 names on my sim.

Although the screen is slightly smaller but it has the 640X480 pixels camera picture, when you download the picture to PC and it's nice and big in size. This phone really really good, why bother others who critise this model if they don't like. Just ask yourself, which phone in the market has all the functions-radio, 65K TFT, Chinese, video recording, small in size, changable covers, dictionary, chinese calendar, java games, expandable mmc slot, handsfree loudspeaker, world time, can create different folders in sms, tough and user user friendly, good resale values, infrared, bluetooth, voice recorder, many many more. What are you all still waiting for, go for the best and get the best. Cheers to the New Mighty 6230!!!!!

The 6230 and 7700 are the only good model Nokias since the 7650. 7700 rubbish design but excellent features, the 6230 looks gorgeous and is should probably contend in the smartphone areas. It would probably wipe some of the competition out. These are words coming from a Nokia and Sony Ericsson despiser, lol!

why don't all se fans buy se and nokia fans buy nokia, or don't buy 6230 if don't like the 128x128, buy another phone with bigger screen.

DMX, if you learnt to read you would get my point from my previous messages. I said:

                              - if you need a bigger screen buy a phone with one, doesn't have to be a Nokia
                              - I do not PERSONALLY see any need for bigger screen
                              - I personally like the keypad in 6230. Although the phone is very small it has a good keypad. I think SE keypad often require female size fingers. But that's a matter of taste.

DMX, you asked "why don't u play games etc." with smaller display. Well, I could ask you why don't you write documents with phone keypad instead of computer keyboard. A phone is a phone, not a gaming pad or something else (for me that is). I have used the phone and the display is more than acceptable for me.

God, you SE lovers are such thick skulled people. I keep saying "for MY purposes","buy something else if you need bigger screen" etc. but still you keep yanking your SE mantra. Like you would have some self esteem problems. We are talking about a phone, not the size of your d**k. I don't know, maybe (SE) phones can damage your brain after all. ;)

One major thing I don't like about SE phones are only supported up to 128MB extra storage and also must use their own memory stick.

As using this phone to replace my mp3 player, I need 256MB and build in FM radio.

For the rest, I think SE is good.

Finnished, you're ONLY defending that pethetic small screen ONLY because it ISN'T any bigger...

Why opts for something less when you can get something more?... Besides, large keypad doesn't mean it's easier to use.. You can have small but thick keypad like what the T610 has and it's VERY easy to use as it has substential spacing between keys.

So then, why don't you run games and view pictures on your computer at the res of 640x480 then?

The thing is, while everyone is already at the 128x160 and is moving to the higer res sector (Even the K700 has more pixels than Nokia's Symbian phones), the 6230 is still stuck at 128x128.

Klaas, what do you mean by "it's proven" when writing about MP3 player quality? Is there a international committee judging the players' features? Please, tell me who has "proved" this thing you are referring to. Again...

I have read from several forums that the MP3 and radio quality is excellent. But that's up to our own judgment.

Again about the height of the display. Of course it looks cool to have a big display and you can see more things at once. 6230 is a very small phone when compared to competing phones and still has many unique features. It is very hard to make decent keypad and display to fit into a small case. But honestly, you very rarely need that big display when using this phone. If you need bigger display buy Nokia 6600 or 9210 or a phone from some other manufacturer. Let's see all the things I need when using THIS phone:

                                    1) calling somebody
                                    - no, I do not stare at the display when doing this

                                    2) writing SMS
                                    - Nokia has smaller font which adds several lines when writing SMS

                                    3) listening to radio and MP3 player
                                    - nope, don't need here either

                                    4) taking photos
                                    - width is 128 pixels as in many competitor's phones so it doesn't make a difference

If you get some pixels more in height what's the big deal (other than ego)? The display in 6230 is quite good anyway and I would not pay attention to its size when using the phone.
