This the best phone I ever had. The navigation is good. And texter friendly. My only problem is that, My battery can't last long when I am using the MP3 player! And where can I find a good headset for this Phone?

One of the best phones ever.
This phone works after many years and it will continue to work for many years more.
To bad that these days phones are designed NOT to last. Same like in the car industry. Mercedes was well known for its durtability, now there is only the reputation left. It does not pays to build perfect cars. Or phones.

i bought nokia 6230, but it is second hand and after buying it one week later the phone went bad and i took it to phone technicians they said the panel is bad. pls help me rectify the fault.

I just GB with courage and tested my 6230 with 2GB MMC. Result. As expected... It works fine. But the card has to be formated initially with a PC. Now I stored 1200MB of MP3 SOngs and Video files totalling 1400MB. Still I am having 450MB free. Is it nice. My firmware veriosn is 5.50.
Regarding compresison of MP3 Songs by another poster.
It can be compressed by using any software. Search through Google. I am using Xilisoft 3gp converter. Using this software you can compress an MP3 Song by putting the Bit rate to 96KB Per second and 44100.
You can also increase the loudness of a song with the software by name MP3Trim.

More than FIVE years, and it is still at its peak... only had to put new battery. Error free considerably faster than the newer phones, small and light weight!
