I've owned one like this or 4 years now and i've dropped it down stairs so many times and it still works fine, i love this phone so much because it's easy to use and strong. my only problems are the fact that i can't put a personal ringtone to someone without adding them to a group and the memory is too small but at the end of the day i still love it

I bought my 6230 4 years ago...dont know what I would do without it..so user friendly and lightweight and its got everything i need in a phone

I am having trouble downloading photos from my nokia 6230. Data enchanted connected comes up when i plug in my usb lead, but no other results occer. Could you please advise me what could the problem be;

can any boby tell me how to up grade my cell
i didnt have any data cable
which softwere is required?
i can connect my cell with the infrared port withmy laptop to download stuff
but i want to updrade it to the latest firmwares.can any body help me?

This fone is really unbeatable. It fell in water, fell three stories and still it is in good working order. This is the strongest Nokia music, camera,bluetooth, ir and mem card fone they have made. My aunt has a 5700. It fell from a shorter distance than mine and it had to b repaired!
