if you have an anti virus pls scan your phone. if it cant be removed you have to reformat the phone... sorry it can't be helped

Hi guys, Im using N6230 for past 1 year n it has v 04.43 version, its very gud phone.. But now im facing sum problems, wenever i switch on bluetooth it dont switch off.. most of the time it refuse to switch on also.. is it bcoz of any virus problem.. 1s i had connected to internet thru bluetooth.. pls help..

Wht is the max capacity of the MMC for this phone? A friend said it can support upto 2GB. Is this true.

I have a 64MB card but it can record any video only for 4 mins. Is thr anyway I can extend the duration.
Also is there a software by which I can use my mobile as a TV remote control.

its is not a good mob cause it is the best mob i have ever used cause it really rock man
its full of acc and v. fast i sold it and have bought 6600 but believe me its a hopeless set in front of this big hit 6230,,,

great phone!!
i got one in april 2004, and i haven't look back at all! although, there is some problem that bothers me: (my phone software is V 3.14)
1. i can't open the caller group option, everytime i choose the option, my phone display return to the main screen
2. sometimes i can't move files from MMC to phones
3. the loudspeaker gets smaller in volume i guess
4.the battery pretty much drain to quickly (i charge every night)
but it's the perfect phone, despite every problem i wrote up ahead.
i have one question though, does it capable of using a 512MB MMC? i am using a 256MB MMC now

I've had this phone since July 2005. Love it, but there is only one problem.....sometimes it gets stuck scrolling through contact names, or the menu. It will keep scrolling until i open it up,and take the battery out. It doesn't do it all the time, but every once in awhile. I wanna get a new one, but they don't make them anymore! I love it besides that!!

One of the best phones ever made by Nokia. 2 years and not a single major problem, eventhoug i've dropped at least 50 times!
only negative point is when used with 256/512 MB card, card folder openin is very long and at times restart by itself.

i currently work with a telecommunications service provider. since 2004 the nokia 6230 has been a best seller on the market in trinidad(caribbean). u can't go wrong with this unit. customer never brought back this phone(minimal repairs) since 2004. up to today customers still request this phone and it is still on the market ever since. so new commers please consider. u can,t go wrong.

in answer toliams question yeah they do turn themselves off.mine use to crash now and again.thyat was the only bad thing about it really though.with technology its better to concentrate on the positive side of things.little bugs like that can generally be ignored,unless its consistent.
