Nokia 6230 is the only best phone from Nokia. I am using it for 6 years by now. No problem at all. I ungraded the firm =ware version to v.5.50. It solves all the problems like Music player doesn't find the files from sub folder etc.,. It will search the music files from anywhere in the phone or in the memory card. You can create sub folders upto 5. Even then it detects the file and added to music player play list.
The another important factor is you can put 2gb memory card and this will work without any problem. I am using a 2gb card for about 2 years after upgrading to 5.50 version.
I am trying to find a 4gb Reduced size memory card to check with this phone.
To listen to the music and FM radio dont use the earphones provided by Nokia.
You get separate Audio-adapter like AD49 or AD45 and you can put any earphone you like. Sony or Pnansonic or Ipod earphones. My suggestion is Sony MDR E808 earphone. You can feel the difference.

I currently have this phn, aside from keypad issues its a gre8t phn. For a phone released a long time ago it still manages to keep up with today. but i wnt advise the tech savy to buy it.realy great phn though. Quite reliable

I'm so glad to still have my 6230. It's been with me for over 6 years (Since 2005) still works like new and everything. I've been through many phones since such as Sony Ericsson Walkman, Cyber-shot phones and even Nokia N95 8GB. They all came and gone but 6230 still has stayed with me. Currently got a SE W995 but i might just put my sim back into the 6230!

This is one of the the best phone nokia has made. this is what phones should be made of theses days, in addition to the high tech feature. I have an E63 now but the 6230 is the best nokia phone Ive had nokia 3360, 6230, 3520, 3310, 5140, 5210, 6682, 3510i, 6120 and now an E63: most cant stand up to the nokia 6230.

I had the most fun with this phone even though I'm now using an E51 with more high tech features.
The E51 is fast but I still believe the Nokia 6230 is the fastest Nokia ever.

It is a good phone but I have got problem with it. It has got problem on reducing voice.
I have tried without success. Its button alocated aside is functionless.

This is best ever phone I am using last 4 years and I have no problem. This is very compact and very easy to use all the features. Phone has got all the features I required. I have dropped accidently 3-4 times my phone but still working perfect. What else i can expect from this phone. I would like to say...Nokia is great to make this kind of phones.
