I bought my unit in 2005 I am in Tenerife (Canary Islands) and it was my best mobile it lasted 8 years and I miss it I am going to look for another one and you can buy the batteries online for example AliExpress

I bought my NOKIA 6230i on december, 2005.
Now is november, 2022. My NOKIA is still alive and has used as my second phone. I have changed 4 bateries and it still works!
I installed internet browser OPERA Mini and many years used my Nokia to search in internet and to chat in phorums.
I made photos and quality of photos was enougt for 9*13cm paper. I had saved about a thousand photos on my NOKIA.
Now I need new decision: where to get new battery for this superphone?
I got my first touchscreen phone only on 2017, but that phone lived only until 2020.

I bought 6230i second hand in 2010, with an MMC card insiide. The MMC card,bein inserted to several various cardreadrs for PC, was not visible by PC, no reading- writing !! So, I used 6230i as cardreader, connecting to pc with cable, it was only the way.

JGH, 01 Mar 2005How can it have a larger screen while it is exactly the same size and shape as 6230?By "larger screen" we mean the screen resolution not the actual size of the LCD.

It was working fine until yesterday ... moreHello Rupal, Its probably too late for you but I had the same problem last week. I had to put my sim into another phone but couldn't see my contacts so have just put the sim back into the 6230 and it powered up as usual!!
