to Glacius: if ur phone is recognized by ur pc then theres no prob. me, i recomend u instal the suite if u plan to instal programs or other stuff.
personal note: DO NOT use the suite converter, it sux, i sugest xilisoft, quality guaranteed.

i really love using the phone 6230i...cause for wat i think 6230i was the best in nokia i used...the mp3 and the player rockz...if anyone interested in gettign 6230i..plz do so cause its a very gd phone.. ;)

Okay, here's a simple question.
Thanks to gsmarena, I have decide to get this phone and enjoy its benefits. But I've got a question.
I am not familar with these colour screen phones because I've been using a 3315 and a 3610 for the past 2 years, and this will mark my first "cool" phone.
I would want to know if I want to transfer a mp3 file (or any file, in this case) to my future Nokia 6230i (via DKU-2 USB cable), do I need this PC NOKIA SUITE programme? Or do I just drag & drog like a normal thumbdrive being plugged into the USB port?

nokia 6230i suppose to have push to talk but how come mine dont have ??

Ive got this phone at the moment, the cameras awsome, the bluetooth works perfect, if you where looking to buy this phone i would reconmend it.

if u really want to send the mp3 via mms on your 6230i, try renaming the file extension from .mp3 to .amr, then try to attach this 'amr' file to your mms. there is no need to convert, just rename it. but i think it cant be renamed on the phone, u has to rename it from your computer..

aero: u are not the only one. i think all 6230is are like that. not for 6230, though.
noisymind: 6230i sound from headset is clear and good. so is 6630 and 6681.

I have a problem. My Radio RDS doesn't work. It shows only the name of the radio (as i saved it) but not the name of the song, and the rest of the RDS options. Does anybody know how can i solve the problem. Please e-mail me or reply here. Thanks

Can any one pls tell me what the maximum size MMC card i can use on my 6230i?? Coz it written up to 512MB but i like to use 1Gig. is it work with 6230i???

hi, i'm currently having a nokia3510 & planning to go for a 6230i. so is it possible to transfer all my contacts (almost 500) from the 3510 to the new 6230i? can somebody help me??
