Yes this phone plays mp3s as ringtones. The ringtones should be kept in the phones' shared memory and not in the MMC. If its kept in te MMC, then after restarting the phone the ringtone switches back to the default Nokia ringtone.
After a file is transferred through infrared or Bluetooth the phone prompts for the target ie. where to save the file. You can choose the MMC and save it there without any problem. Peace.

Hi everyone!
There are a few things I would like to know about this phone before I decide if I am going to buy it.
- Can you use MP3's as a ringtone?
- If you receive files by Bluetooth, does the phone save them on the Memory Card or on the phones internal memory? (on my current phone, a regular NOKIA6230, I have to clear out my internal memory to receive big files)

wats up with u all !!!! lol its a well gud phone ! lol stop moanin bout it evry1 ! its got a high resoulution screen (208-208) pixels n its mp3 player aint so loud but the sound quality is better than b4 and u cn here it ringin lol it just starts off quiet 4 like 2 secs den it guz loud n the video recordin is gud it dus 15 frames per second but it dus go abit blurry if u move it round alot but apart from dat its actully reeeeaaallllyyyy gud ! not as gud as D600 or N70 doh :)

this phone isnt good it was recomended by o2 store. the speaker in the handset has gone this handset no longer rings when someone is calling mp3 player doesnt play no longer, i have had problems since the start

Videos can't be forwarded or rewinded.

to lee: it can play and record in the .3gp only then i think you'll have to use a converter to convert it either from mpeg to 3gp or vice versa
i want to know how i can fast forward the videos, it says the left and right keys but i've tired it and even tried to set the time intervals but doesn't seem to work. did anyone else have this problem before?

i think it's a pretty good phone. it looks good and it contains great functions, as well as sold at a cheap price.

Dont you lot find it annoying that when you use the camera with 1280x1024 pixels, the size of d picture ends up being 500+ kb, as this takes up alot of space.

Hi,
Has anyone used the 3.5mm headset converter?
(may it be original nokia or ones from ebay)
If so, can you please share your views on its quality and whether its worth buying.
