I told you before and I will do it again: 6230i CAN delete all messages if you want.
Menu then Messages then (no 11 in messages menu)Delete Messages (and here you can choose to delete ALL inbox message, ALL sent messages etc).

Ahamed,Mohamed and Jennifer!!! we all know u are the same person,
its not that bad to be a hardcore NOKIA fan and have ur little illusions that ur phone is somewhere close to the best but u dont have to try fooling people this way...
6230i has many limits because its based on the very limited 6230,
history prooved it was a fast moove frm Nokia to try compete with the oposition,
only the Nokia fans were fooled again because they are used to,
but eventually some people mature...

No choice of colours. Should have at least 8 colours and this phone is the BEST if the disadvantages mentioned by Ahamed and Mohamed (below) are corrected. I wish my Nokia 6230i is Red in colour. Sales would have gone HIGHER.

No flashlight in the camera. This is the best phone in the world if the disadvantages mentioned by Ahamed (below) and if the phone has a flash light. Also if it is 2 mega pixel.Thanks Ahamed for covering all the disadvantages.

Disadvantages(1)Ringing tone gets to ascending and I miss athe calls sometimes.(2)I wanted to record a conversation between my girlfriend and myself without her knowing.She came to know it and changed her style.There was a beep.(3)The photo became one millimeter smaller.It was not like this in the beginning.The video pictures also becames smaller.(3)The dictaphone is not loud enough.I have seen smaller dictaphones with louder voice and capability to absorb sound from distance.(4)Get ages to open.(5)Opening of folders in Images is SOOOO slow.Even in the video clips it opens SOOOO slowly.(6)Cannot take a photo from a videoclip after pausing the video clip.(7)In the Memory Card the Images are always empty. No photo,video,recordings goes there.(8)Small dust particles get inside the screen and it is seen.(9)Cannot delete all messages together.

The ligths are blinking when the phone is loseing or have already lost one battery's line. It's no problem with this. My old Nokia 6100 did the same thing.

i get a message "No Server access " while i try acessing the GPRS , does any one have any solution for this , will be very thankful for u guys ...

it is a good phone honest,(3.23) acually it never get bored in your hands, but with advantages there are disadvantages also:
no ff/rr option in video
lights come and go for no reson(blinks)

One of the BEST cell phones out there. Loaded with tons of features. User friendly, navigation is smooth and very nice size.
Nokia keeps getting better and better with their phones. The way they compress so much in a small package with awesome functionality is UNBELIEVABLE. I'm waiting for the Nokia N91 to come out as my next phone. Can't wait, Nokia forever!

Sadly but surely... SK750i rules. I think it also has an unlimited dictaphone.
I think, nokia users should now be looking to familiarize themselves with new kind of SMS typing where SPACEBAR is under # key.
SE K750i for the new buyers.. others.. definitely continue with Nokia 6230i.

best phone?
this phone can now hardly make it in NOKIA's top5,
if we include the other brands too,then buy buy top10
dont waste time comparing this with 2+mp phones,
its just too little
and its not one of the best 1,3mp cams anyway,
low quality on pics,display and sounds but competitive dimensions,
but still there are many phones smaller with better features

It is normal to have the picture size exceed 500kb.
Please discuss 6230i only in here and its competitors.. don't bring PDAs.. it hurts :D

I have a question about the camera, when i take a picture with the highest resoultion the size of the picture is always around 500+ kb,is this normal?? Can someone please tell me if it is or not!
