my 6280 began to malfunction so a friend gave me this handset since it had no value to her. it is still one of the best dam fones out there in my opinion, it may be old, but i love the design and removable covers. it also has themes unlike the 6230 which i used to own. it is so small, compact and lite so i barely notice it on my pocket and it still has most of the basic features my 6280 had eg. video cam, music player,bluetooth infared. so i am very pleased with it. it may have a small screen compared to newer models out there, but i dont notice it when i use it. if you are not very careful with your devices i strongly recomend this model as it does not break easily and buttons etc. can be easily replaced.

God knows that am sick n tired of complainin' on this site;what's the latest NOKIA upgrade for this phone? I can't use a phone that doesn't support e-bible ,dictionary,games etc on.I've got penchant 4 those stuff

I've had my 6230i for one yr seven months. Great, if you want to install java games on to it you have to use nokia pc suit application installer you cant drag and drop on to the mem card like newer ones, to b honest java is not this phones strong suit as it only has 1.5 mb of java memory... All in all i love it but its getting old (screen is now way too small)

mond, 12 Feb 2008how to activate mms in 6230i thanks...In response to Mond's question,MMS configuration is done by your local service providers.For us in Africa,we depend on MTN,Celtel,ORASCOM etc.Contact yours so that they direct you.

I know I've complained so much on this site.But it's dishearting to see phones like S.Eric k750 have ebible & dictionary while my 6230i can neither support them nor Nokia themes/games.Someone help me quick...

a small celfone with huge potentials,it has everything from a camera,radio,mp3 and mp4 players,bluetooth,infrared,web/wap connectivity. its an almost perfect Nokia Masterpiece! the only flaw is the small flimsy netting covering the infrared port,what's up with that? can't afford extra plastic covering? aside from this obvious weakness,I LOVE THE N6230i! Kudos,Nokia!

This phone is somewhat good but its problems include small screen ,inability 2 support files(games,themes,videos,dictionary,ebible etc) & low sound production.I need a better answer to my phone problems,please.

It's the best phone I ever had. Now i've got Nokia 3250 Xpress Music and Apple iPhone 16gb,but Nokia 6230i still the best

Ifeanyi P.N, 07 Jul 2008Can a software be installed on this phone(Nokia 6230i) so that it can support files like e-bib... morewell, u can install dictionaries cause it doesnt pass 1,4MB (that what this phone sports), but i think u cant install e-bible 'cause this app has about 1,8MB...i already tried it..if u found an e-bible with at least 1,4MB u can install it ^^
