Best phone at its price, with all connectivity options-Bluetooth, IR,GPRS,EDGE,PTT etc... Entertainment options Radio,MP3 Player,Media player, Voice recorder etc... But I didn't feel any effect for its equalizer... U can use this phone as a removable storage device , if u hav a datacable...
One limitation is that it doesn't support message groups...

I've just got to say the Nokia 6230i is Brill l've had mine for two years. Just upgraded to a Nokia 6300 noway as good as the Nokia 6230i

I have installed 1 GB (Kingston) in 2 6230i phones. No problem (I know the manual spec only 512 kB).

I have had the 6230 for over year. It worked better in Eujrope than in the US. Here the coverage is spotty. Is this phone made for USA usage? Could my ATT sim card be incompatible?

just buy a new battery...
very durable & capable phone, has been my companion for 2 years now. only negative thing is dust under the cover (screen). also s40 2ed series have no firmware update through computer + no flight mode

hi i've got a nokia 6230i the battery does not last very long it goes flat all the time
so i might upgrade to a nokia 6610i!!

excellent phone, very durable - been dropped in water once or twice, and it actually survived being thrown at a wall! it's left such an impression on me that I would think twice before buying a non-nokia phone again. owned this phone for over a year now.
