TO Mjg:

A Replacement Loudspeaker cost me £5 in UK

Latest Firmware is V3.88
advantages are Everything of having that Firmware.

6230i does Not Support AAC so video's with AAC will Have No Sound lol.

For the Headset there is 1 Nokia Headset Called HS-20 Which is Similar to the Sony Ericsson WALKMAN One's !! The HS-20 dont Cost that Much !

diesel:
it has a forward function, but very lame, to say the least, cuz it's slow and sometimes skips a track so you gotta forward anew. The mp3 player sux so much, that I hardly resist throwing the phone against the wall, it simply turns off after having pushed that red button or just viewed the playlist. I've no idea, if that's a memory card issue, but it definitely pisses me off. The battery.... well... it's gonna last for 3-4 days this time, for I've decided to scratch the contacts with a needle to improve connectivity... :) we'll see, but that's the last time I'm doing anything about it, since there's more to life than monitoring and improving one's Nokia's standby. Good phone overall, but some things make me mad.

Its a great phone 4 it s price. I have mine for
6 mounts now and I like it verry much. It s all
I need from a phone:
My battery lasts in standby 6 days with original battery, 3 days if I listen to music at work with own speaker-that s around 4 hours a day(3 days standby+12 hours of music).Another
thing it has voice recorder in call--- i use this to record my friend s calls.Music player with my headphones sounds great but the player has no ff forwerd to music and video.The screen is too small but clear(tft)
I don t like the camera quality though is 1.3 mpx.Great feauters.I recomand this phone to anyone who want s a good phone with little money (remember it s NOKIA) I told you the camera is not that good but i love this phone

to Five46

some tip's on how to Save Battery Life:

1) Charge it Only When the Phone Die's Totally.

2) Clean the Battery as Phonebooth has Mentioned

3) Clean the Dust from the Battery (the back of the Phone)

My 6230i Last's 4-5 Day's after doing all those Thing's

with Camera/Music - it Last's 2 Day's
without camera/music - 4-5 Day's
and im Not a Heavy User im only 16 Year's Old !!!

@ Phonebooth...

Ok brother!!! Jus asked, sometimes it frustrates... That's it!!!

What is the battery back-up that we can expect with this usage...

-> Around 100 msgs/day
-> Around 15 mins of calling time/day
-> Around an hour of music/day using the phones speaker, not headset...

My phone hardly stays for a day...

2 five46:

well, I'm not an expert, I'm just a user, so don't count to much on my response :) 6230i is based on the S40 platform, so I doubt whether it's possible to (re)install the dictionary, you can add your own words to it though.

To phonebooth...

The T9 dictionary in this phone is not the conventional one that we find in other phones... Is there any means to install the conventional T9?
