This fone is terrible. It freezes all the time. Don't know why people are hyping it so much. i need a replacement.

i have a 6230 not 6230i and have the same "problem".. the pone just shuts down when i play an mp3..
It happend only once in 2 weeks.. so i guess it's resonable :p
Great phone anyway :)

Hey all have had my 6230i 4 a month now n its ok. its firm ware is version 3.88 and its quite fast compared to the 3.60 version. mine has only restared about thrice. i have mp3 n aac formats on it n its gr8. BUT!!!! My freind gave me an mp3 to aac conveter software called easy CD-DA extractor and wen i convert mp3 to aac the phone plays with no sound output then restarts then plays with sound again on a 2nd attempt on a 3rd attempt no sound again...... But wen i rip audio cds With nokia sound managers they r in aac format and they r perfect i dunno y maybe that software is problematic... I never have problems with restaring wen using mp3s or aac created by pc suite only wen using the converter... Beautiful phone... perfect...no probs

yeah, my phone turns off when controlling the music player too, its so annoying, especially with a big card it takes for ever to start up again. Any way to fix this?

Just the type of my phone. With GPRS connection, I can access most of my favorite sites displayed same as on the comp.

same thing happens to me and iv got the latest fireware v3.80 and it still reboots itself this is really annoying i hate it -- i might just give up this phone because of that and get K750i

i have a 6230i, i wanna upgrade it from 512MB to 1GB, any expert give me an advice ? card MMC 1Gb is just for 3G phones, what should i do ?

sometimes the music player reboots itself when you have the whole memory (in Phone and mmc card) full or when you are playing different formats such aac, mp3 and itunes format, at least that is what happens to mine, my firmware is 03.62 from 04/nov/05, it helps when u separate the playing list by type of file...

are you in uk because uk doesnt have push to talk settings yet they havent got it yet ....dunno when push to talk wil be launched here in uk but i hope soon

I had the problem of the music player stopping too.. I discovered that it does not happen if you play the files by selecting them in the gallery rather than playing them from the music player. Dunno why!

this is the best i ever had -- even the new nokia 6233 suckkss compared to this this phone rulzzzz but 1 problem wen im lisning to music in the music player it RESTARTS itself dunno y ?? but its so annoying ......
