hey guys, i think this is a wicked mobile but i hav a prob....i cant get the settings for multimedia and wap...ive already tried getting them off the sim thing where it says get settings but i cant....plz help me somebody....

it is a very nice phone! i like it very much..:P...i like the camera, the music player and the othres facilities...in fact is COOOL!

It seems that the music player cannot see music files stored in the Memory Card. I want to use the music player (not media player) to play mp3s stored in the MMC card cos it has an equalizer. Can anyone help? my own is 6230 not 6230i

Push to talk only available if your phone carrier (ex. O2, T-Mobile etc...) support it

- actual memory without MMC is 24MB.
- no it cannot play wma,wmp format.

It seems to be a nice phone...if it would work!!! For several times I've tried to connect the phone...well, it connects after several attempts...HORRIBLE! When you need the phone...well, patience!!!
Could be a problem with the upper button. Please, Nokia, change that d*** thing!!!

* actual memory without MMC is 12MB.

I got a 6230i. What most i do to let a application like MXIT or any chat application work. Every time i try to login,a text apears saying gprs failed check gprs network connection ..my gprs works fine,but it do not work with the application.does anyone now the problem. Thanks, dont worry about my english.

Regarding the previous post, about the light coming on, on its own.
Well it has something to do with a function in the software for automatic time and network search update. Dpending on your firmware, some keep looking for updates every so often, thats proably what you are seeing. Thats my exp. atleast!

I really like my 6230i, but about a month ago, the screen started freezing up "white", with thin little vertical lines. The only way to return it to normal is to restart it ( power off / on ). I wish I knew how to fix this "white screen of death ", as my OS on it is up-to-date. I've heard that the screens are impossible to repair once this happens. A shame, as I really like the phone, and wish that the screen would work properly and reliably. Any others out there with the same problem, and (hopefully) a solution - I'd love to hear from you !! Thanks ! J.T.

I just purchased yesterday, coz the phone is full feature packed. Its a BMW of phones, minus the screen size. My worry is that the mfg date is June 2005, understand this has been withdrawn from India. What happns to the warranty, as battery has a shelf life and it is already a year old, though I have the Nokia 1-yr warranty. Performance I cant say as yet to use it. But I got only a black color, silver-black-silver is classy.
