this phone won't disappoint you. but if you're using a 512mb mmc card like me, don't blame it for being slow. when phones get too good, speed has to compromise.
It is v good, but new ring tones (.wav) doesn't work . can any one help!!
i bought this phone 2 days ago just wanna ask when tis phone is out? cus moi frenz say it alreadi counted as old phone izit true? ....it nt bad feature , mp3 , video , camera ...all good but just it onli support up to 512mb nia ..other phone can 1gb...email me de date of tis phone is out..
It's simply the best in marathan of small mobile athelites and can be sort out as a role model in handsets arena. that's why i love it very much.
All you people that have problems with this phone:go to your local phone service-man and ask him to install the newest software version for your 6230i,and also to flash your current software but before that back up the info from it to your pc,and when the repair man finishes his job and you get the repaired phone all your fears woll be HISTORY!!!
It's a great phone with a complete features that comes in a small size.. the only small size full featured Nokia handphone. They should've made more of this kind.
Unluckily, I got a lemon, and battery only stays 40 hours on stand by only. It's been repaired for 3 weeks, but I only get a little bit of improvement. Lucky you who can get 4 days stand by in normal usage! I guess, I'll replace it with another model later on when it's available like 6233 if I can afford it.
It's not the battery problem mostly, it's the power management failure! Beware!!! If you're lucky you'll be happy...
i think the nokia 6230 i is fantastic it has everything u could ever want i use mine for anthing from waking me up to calculating sums listening to music what else do u need
This phone is great ! I simply love it . BUT is one problem : THE CAMERA ins`t that great
i have been using 6230i since june last year and i had 6230 before it its nice and complete phone acording to its small size but the battary life is disapointing wish 6233 is much better bec it will be my next move....
I'm interested in buying this phone but i'm worried about the battery!! i've seen a lot of complaines about it!! But i really love this phone...and not sure what to do!! I saw it on someone and it was great...just that i dind't ask about the battery ..:/.. Help?!?! Thanks:)
I have this phone for a month and the only word about it is: AMAZING! The photo quality is not really good (the image is interpolated at the maximum resolution), but first of all it's a phone, not a compact camera. If you need good picture, go for a compact camera (eg. Canon A610), not for an expensive phone like Nokia N92.
The MP3 quality is very good, as well as the software and battery life - 4 days with average usage (calls + applications + mp3)
nokia 6230i is the best phone with its blue tooth and mp3 i can't explain any further it is just wicked
my nokia switches itself off every now and then but when i press the on button it just goes back to the page which it turned of. is this a problem with my phone or do all nokia 6230i's do this please help???
It can be true if you're not lucky just like me.. it's been in Nokia for 3 weeks now.. and no news just yet.
If you're lucky, it works great.. too bad.. but I heard so many complaints about the battery. just weird.
Shame on Nokia!!
1. u can assign personal tones by making group, then you can assign the tone for that group. So if you have 10 person with special tones, you'll have to make 10 group for eac of them.
2. screen brightness, i dont think it can be adjusted..that's the way it is.
3. Alarm sound is ascending..that's the way it is
4. bluetooth sign should be the bluetooth logo I suppose.
NO, it doesn't come with USB cable.
This is da phone...lets not discuss any further.....Its tda final full stop in any search for the complete man.
Shame on Nokia!!
do i hav a faulty set or 6230i has these problems?
1. u cant assign personal tones
2. u cant adjust screens brightness and contrast.
3. alarm sound cant be adjusted
4. while receiving data thru Bluetooth, so sigh is shown. although the booklet says ((.)) sign is displayed.
