How can you extend the ring-time on a Nokia 6233 - at present it goes staight to voice mail
the Best earphones for Nokia Music Lovers are:
Nokia HS-45 (XpressMusic Earphones)
Nokia HS-28 (Music Edition Earphones)
and for applications for 6233 visit:
dear sir nender
you can install java based applications to the 6233
there are quite a number of java applications that you could install on 6233
Guys... Q and A,
what apps can you install on a 6233? like a New Music or Media Player? i'm thinking to buy 1, too bad theres no new 6233 here in the Philippines, only 2nd hand or reconditioned phones. The next best thing is a 3110c and 6300i. also, can u give a good set of earphones for a Music Lover. thx!
6233 is beta dan n70 anyways.i had a n70 n it used 2hang like hell.i dunno how many times i tuk out d battery n threw it on2 d bed in fustration.its d slowest fon i eva had(even wid 256 mem).
What if i want to connect to internet useing this Phone. So is it worth to buy this phone fot the same. Please let me know
dear djurowsky, nice to see that you have been able to find a solution to your problem hehehe^_^
6233 may not be as popular as n70
but do we have a problem with that?
makes 6233 users even more unique hehehe^_^
its a bit unfair to compare an n70 smartphone to a regular (yet high powered) phone like 6233
but the key where 6233 dominates smartphones in general, is the speed and how user friendly it is
load up an n70 with various applications with a 1gig memory card and you will see how slow it is...
even when performing simple tasks as texting...n70's speed is greatly affected when the memory card is almost full
try loading up a 2gig card on the 6233
and you will see no decrease in it's speed nor it's performance in basic tasks such as texting etc...
opening the gallery on a ful 2gb card would be a bit slow for 6233...but it's worse on the n70 >_<
even the smartphone 6630 beat n70 anyday in terms of speed...
check the symbian freaks forum there was a comparative on which phones were the fastest to launch java applications
n90 was somewhere in the 40th place n70 was at 30 plus
and 6630 was at 20 and 6233 was placed 9th place
w900 was only ahead by one at 8th place
this comparative was pre n95 era...and the top was n93 followed by n73...
I will provide a link once I get to find it...
KUNAL!!! What is the cose of that problem? The problem is this: In the phone there is a two "Invisible" files called "Themes preview" and "Themes Active". They are for temporary and active files of the themes loaded and used. And if you play with themes very often, these invisible files are becoming full of fragments of old used and previewd themes. But there is a way to clean that files and back the int.memory to normal.
Mr.Carloud!!! I Fix the problem with one software "MobiMB", so, now I realy don't have to go to the service center. But it is interesting how you manage to save some free space (MB) in your internal memory of phone. Becouse I was doing same thing as you...often changing themes, and that was eating my internal memory. Thanks for contact me!
dear sir djurrowsky
as what sir kunal said maybe you should take it to a service center....as In my case...been using mine and I often change themes I have almost 80 different themes loaded in my memory card
though I only have4. something mb left...still is far from running out of memory hehe^_^
good luck sir^_^
My budget and the fact that I'm not interested in fancy exotic mobile phones made that I bought it a week ago (too late I know ...)
But it's right what I need, it's a regular phone for candy bar lovers, perfect "untill now", the only con (for me) is the earphones and the connection cable associated with them which is not like reguler cables we may use with mp3 players but is rather bulky and hard to plug and even harder to unplug
Plus, Nokia does not deliver any compatible usb cable with it (so that those who don't have bluetooth can connect to their PC) which is very strange from nokia to sell a phone without an essential component for it.
for all the rest it's perfect for me, right what I needed (simplicity and beauty)
I'm Currently using Nokia 6233 & N70ME, both have bt v2.0.
N70 bt @40 to 60 kbps max
6233 80 to 140 kbps, whearas
6233 has A2DP N70 doesen't,
6233 3D stereo sound,
N70 Average Sound,
6233 7mb internal
N70 22mb internal
6233 with 2GB (still doesnt works slow)
N70 with 1Gb (works really slow)
6233 better battery backup
N70 aroung an hour less
6233 can be used as a data storage device,
N70 (dont even think abt it),
6233 no flash
N70 good flash,
Image quality (daylight) 6233>N70,
Image quality (night) N70>6233,
Both have 3G,
Video is really good in 6233 640*480,
Video is quiet acceptable in N70 176*144,
6233 no front camera,
N70 does have a secondary camera,
6233 good keypad,
N70 hard & small keypad(comparetively),
6233 very user friendly with loads of options,
N70 is average,
6233 Music quality through headset Loud & clear even with average headset provided with the package,
N70 Music quality through headset average with comparetively little more bass coz of music edition headset,
6233 battery 1100mAh,
6233 supports WMA,
6233's video wont be play in N70 only the audio will,
6233 S40 Fp1,
I guess this much is enough info for everybody to choose the best out of the two, for me its 6233.
