Yeah the touchscreen buttons dont respend good enough! it could of been me not pressing them right but still they feel lagging compared to D-Pad
i prefer D-Pad
6233 has the best D-Pad
wow sir dani you're very lucky to have tested a k850 hehehe so the touch screen buttons arent as responsive? hmm maybe it's just that unit? (hopefully) hehe it's a very cool looking phone imo
sir fuzion hmm seems like sir lester has posted
already about your querry hope your problem will be solved hehe btw in my experience I personally went to a smart office in SM and had them enable the 3g settings to watch tv using 3g(the chick at the attending for the customers is HOT btw ^_^' )and when I connect to the internet via nokia p.c. suite sometimes I get disconnected after just 5 mins of connection and other times
I am able to connect long enough to download a deathnote episode heheh^_^
sir piya-whoa I envy you, the 6233 in blue is quite cool in my opinion hehehe mine is metallic silver, and the back cover is kinda getting "discolored",the term escapes me at the moment, hehe but anyways more reasons to buy myself a new housing. Trying to find a blue housing here, so far, to no avail...>_<
yo sir sameer you an owner of k700 too? hehehe that fone was cool back in the days, hehehe such a lovely screen indeed beats out the nokia 6600 or even 6630 imo heheh, a shame that the joystick is quite problematic
hehehe the arm 9 processor is commonly used in series 40 3rd generation phones and If Im not mistaken, its the same processor as that of the n73 but why does the 6233 "skip" when playing 30fps videos? and the n73 and even the 6630 smartphone doesnt? hmm maybe its in the limitation of the device's media player...
I wonder if only we could kinda hack the 6233 to play and record videos at 30fps per sec just like a hacked k800 which records videos at 30fps at 176x144 6233 would probably dethrone n95 as the king of video recording ei?
theroetically it is possible as the k800's processor(which is supposed to be vital in video processess) is slower than that of the 6233 as it only has 209mhz and the 6233 being 239mhz...
but if we are gonna put it into action...hmmm
Yeah i agree i love the W800 its the best Walkman Phone! and yeah i think Walkman phones are dieing out now...theyv lost the trend! sadly...i still have my W850i tho i Love it ! i Love 6233 abit more for alot of reasons.........
@dani=dont you think that SE WALKMAN series is loosing its charm just like MOTOROLA RAZRs series because like MOTOROLA they are repeating same designs and functions. i think W800 is still the cooooooolest WALKMAN PHONE. @lester= how good is the web browser of 6233,can i acess GMAIL easily on it or not. @piya= ya 3100c sucks, actually one week ago i went to SUBHIKSHA where mine friend is a MANAGER. 2 girls come and asked for 3110c, i wanted to tell them to go for 6233 but mine friend hold me back, they were questioning that, is 3100c comes with 2 MP camera and 256 mb card after they got their answer which was YES they simply buy that, but when they inserted the sim and open the mobile, they felt cheated because 3110 display SUCKSSSSSSSSSS, ya i like the expressions in their faces because they were acting oversmart. 3110c is a crappy phone with worst display even mine k700i has better display.
buddy...open the page of 311cl user opinions and type "folders" in check opinions window......u will get plenty of solutions which say do not create any sub foldres under the main music folder!
buddy,i bought 6233 4 days back!b4 that for almost a month i was reading opinions about various nokia fones as 3110cl,3500cl and 6233!
on the page of 3110cl many users have reported rebooting/hanging problem!also sum1 suggested not to create folders to store music files as it MIGHT BE the cause 4 restarting!
many users posted their difficulties and they got variety of answers!
i have not used 3110cl and neither of my friends has!
so i stated this based on the solution given by 1 of the users of 3110cl!that's it!
n3110cl is an affordable fone loaded with many things!!
for ur info,i almost finaled the decision of buying a 3110cl but as budget increased ^_^ i opted for 6233!!!
no offence....but my purpose was just to get my doubt cleared and not creating any nuisance!
diz fone is the terrible fone ever exist!
once bought no probz...next 3 month it will hang frequently....worse!
Hi there! Im a 3110c user. Im wnderin. Hav u rily used a 3110c?, coz we arnt xperiencing that "HANG" pr0blem that u mean wid our f0ne. 3110c is fast. The CPU type is ARM 9. The CPU clock rate is 239 mhz. Its rily fast. So, how wud it "HANG"?. And it's NOT true dat it wud create prblems wen u create ur own f0lders n mm0ry card. I nver xpriencd any pr0b wen creating f0ldrs there. Dat rstart pr0b iz true but yeah, its wid every Series40 f0ne take n0te if u pr0vide c0ruptd msic files, a f0ne wud sure 2 rstart..
this question has been bothering this forum almost everytime..
where is the option for ffw/rwnd ????
it has some increments to be adjust but cant find it to used,, damm it..
@agsags=i also dont know how to forward or rewind but in 6233 booklet it has been written that you can have a 10 second time lap, just read booklet. @piya=peace @lester= bro, you cant say that 6233 battery sucks,in UMTS network or by using WIFI bateery life drops increasingly of all mobiles and i mean all mobiles that have these functions,so you cant judge it in umts mode, in GSM network its battery life is good as compared to other mobiles. so tell me can you access GMAIL with it or not. @dani=if 6233 had express music player it would have been great na, 0ne think that i hate in 6233 is no call timer. gosh its so important to me. @lester,fuzion= who is LILYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. @carloud= just relaxing bro
or you can choose from the internet explorer,
on the tool tab ( its along with the file, edit, view, favorites, and help) if you are using Internet Explorer version 6 and below,
on the Internet options, click the "Connections" tab, choose the Nokia modem, it should be there when you connect your phone via USB, (i dunno if what will appear if it is via blutut or infra)
choose the "Always Dial My Default Connection" then click "settings" just right below the "remove" and "add" buttons,
then up until then i dunno how to start, imnot yet at home, im using diff PC,
hmmm, yes i mean it,, it was the fone as a modem i was talking about, if you can browse smart hompage, then probably you can now use it as a modem to connect to your laptop,,
if possible can you list some error prompt while you are trying to connect it as a modem??
mine has a problem but in globe, it says "subscribed to packet data first" but i can browse to globe wapsite, maybe it doesnt have an internet settings, but in SMART, it sure does together in the web,3G,MMS, all in one settings's name, its "Smart"
however, i did something in the configuration in the control panel in my PC, in the internet option, i enter some valu in the dial field,, but i cant remember,im on the work right now so cant provide it, step by step, but i can while im in the house, you can text me, im using globe right now,
Mine reboots the same way like yours but it's no biggie...
What I mean was, I've been browsing the net using my 6233 on weekends (I even earned a lot of points for the internet promo thingy)but I want to use it as a modem thru my laptop coz I find it a hassle to go to coffee shops to use Wifi...I want to browse in the comfort of my room. We don't have landline at this moment (long story)
I've tried scrollong to SMART Philippines on the PC Suite and when I connect, it couldn't.
I have a major concern,
my phone slows down when it reboots!!!!
for a sec, when it search for networks, it hangs for a sec.. it display the battery, the signal, the unlock below, but cant do anything until it finish rebooting fully, but it takes 5 secs!! much slower than accessing the memory card,, Sigh!!..
im using a USB CA-53 Data Cable, for faster connection, blluetooth connection may affect the speed of connection, and anyway, USA connection is the fastest connection to PC other any other means..
i think i can help you there,,
you see im in for the SMART right now, because they have this promo 10 php/ 30 min,
first req for the settings, call *888 (SMART Toll Free Hotline) via your handset, and req for configuration settings,
or you may send to 211, free of charge for the configuration,
I have mine set and configured, very easy, then connect your fone, using "connect to the internet" in PC Suite, first you have to go to the settings, choose "SMART Philippines" in the drop down menu..
or you may, manually configure it, leave the username and password blank, but i dont know what to enter in the Access point field.. hehehe
but anyway, set all the configuration in your fone to SMART,
it only compose of one settings (web,MMS,streaming)
i have problem connecting my fone using Globe network, (my company sucks)
thats why i change SIM sometimes to be able to access the net with broadband speed,
text me dude:
