Mine reboots the same way like yours but it's no biggie...
What I mean was, I've been browsing the net using my 6233 on weekends (I even earned a lot of points for the internet promo thingy)but I want to use it as a modem thru my laptop coz I find it a hassle to go to coffee shops to use Wifi...I want to browse in the comfort of my room. We don't have landline at this moment (long story)
I've tried scrollong to SMART Philippines on the PC Suite and when I connect, it couldn't.
I have a major concern,
my phone slows down when it reboots!!!!
for a sec, when it search for networks, it hangs for a sec.. it display the battery, the signal, the unlock below, but cant do anything until it finish rebooting fully, but it takes 5 secs!! much slower than accessing the memory card,, Sigh!!..
im using a USB CA-53 Data Cable, for faster connection, blluetooth connection may affect the speed of connection, and anyway, USA connection is the fastest connection to PC other any other means..
i think i can help you there,,
you see im in for the SMART right now, because they have this promo 10 php/ 30 min,
first req for the settings, call *888 (SMART Toll Free Hotline) via your handset, and req for configuration settings,
or you may send to 211, free of charge for the configuration,
I have mine set and configured, very easy, then connect your fone, using "connect to the internet" in PC Suite, first you have to go to the settings, choose "SMART Philippines" in the drop down menu..
or you may, manually configure it, leave the username and password blank, but i dont know what to enter in the Access point field.. hehehe
but anyway, set all the configuration in your fone to SMART,
it only compose of one settings (web,MMS,streaming)
i have problem connecting my fone using Globe network, (my company sucks)
thats why i change SIM sometimes to be able to access the net with broadband speed,
text me dude:
i thnk i was just frustrated that i got this cell @ 9 grand!!! :(
no hard feelings!
hi!hw r u?n hwz ur 6233?
guys i ASKED a question!
the ff/rw option seems to be only for media player not music player!!???!!!
will my 6233work slow if i make several(at least 3)to store songs?
cuz new fones 4m nokia e.g.3110cl reboots/slows down/hangs if folders are made in mem. card!
@Carloud / @Lester
I'm doing fine carloud :)
Lester, you've used your fone as a modem and was able to surf the net using your freshly formatted PC, right?
Guys, whenever I click the "connect to the internet" using PC Suite I can't connect at all. Is there some settings that needs to be done? Via cable or bluetooth, it doesn't work. I'm on SMART subscriber. Carloud, any ideas?
Hehehe..I used to help people out, now I'm the one who needs one..hehehe :)
Nice to have a lady in this forum. Hi there.
great day !!!!
i tested my friends K850i my mates W810i my mates W910i my friends 6300 my friends Samsung U600 my friends D900 my friends N95 a K800i
the K850i touchscreen buttons i didnt like that much they didnt respond quickly enough, and its speed is slower then my W850i !
its a shame SE has done that to a high end phone ! oh well
6233 is still a *KING* out of all of them !!!!!! i love it
k800 has superb camera but as a phone the 6233 roks. i use it for PDA(PACKET DATA) with 3g sim with a n800 for broadband like internet speed.
madame piya hehe I bought mine for only about $125USD more or less... I had a friend who had a 6233 already when it first came out and when he celebrated his birthday a 6233 unit was given to him as present so he sold his other unit to me for a cheap price
I was using a w900 already back then(won it in a raffle)
and sold my w900 for a k800....a sweet sour decision that I made hehe
but with 6233, so far, I'm quite satisfied with this already heheh
hehe sir sameer Im doing fine heheh what about you sir?
sir dani seems to be all praises today....nice day it seems?
hehe sir lester and fusion musta mga fre? hehehe

VGA Video - excellent
Stereo Speakers - loud!!
Keypad - smooth and responsive
D-Pad - unbeatable
Music Playback - Very Loud through earphones and speakers
Video Playback - plays it all smoothly!
Telephony - unbeatable
Battery life - above average
Usability and UI - one of the best i seen
Durability - ruff and tuff
Design - 10/10
Display - very big and bright
3G - speedy fast!!
WAP and internet surfing - Lightning fast!!
all in all this 6233 is one of the best Phones in the Price range and category
your phone is slow becuase your files in the memory card must be in no folders
in my 6233 my songs are in folders in the memory card *New* for new songs! *Old* for old songs..and then *Others* for randon songs and *Images* for images and *videos* are all in a separeate folders !
this method makes the phone faster...try it your 6233 will instantly get faster.!!!
True Point bro...iPod is the best MP3 Player on the market..only apple can make it
not even W960i ..but atleast it can be used as a Mp3 Player..thats what it was made for!! the Walkman Phones..i dont have an iPod becuase i use my W850i for Music!
i would of really loved the 6233 if it had a better Music Player e.g. *XpressMusic Player* !!!!
then it would of been a great phone..but Nokia held back and put that music player in the 6300 !
but still 6233's Music Player is as good as K750i's and W810i !
@samer, sonia, lester and dami.
i saw option in media player in 6233 there is ff/rew interval but i dnt know what button to press to ff/rew.. can anyone tell me how? plzz
@Sonia Agarwal - Mum
sorry, got disconnected,,
well, it has no RDS, not serious matter at all
yeah, camera in night and/or in low lihtning is horrible, what do you expect, it dosnt have a flash, not that serious for me, i shot more in daylight in it was ssooooooo great,,
for me, battery is not that good, like piya said, it eats my battery so fast specially in UMTS mode, i used GSM mode it lst for one day with normal texting and some radio,
using it as a modem consumes battery, but because i used UMTS mode to used the broadband speed like connection,
