to aji, about ur q, maybe i have some answer,
i already change my phone (at last), and my replace is SE K618i last Saturday, so maybe i barely write this forum again :) and after i used several days, it makes me surprised, there many features that my old nokia 6233 didn't have. Such is:
- It can multitasking, when u hear mp3, u can browsing the internet without any lag, u can even minimize the java apps dude!!! so u can read any incoming messages, even u can hear mp3 while u playing games, thats awesome man!
- and if u download something and there's bad connection, it can resume it, it very cool.
- and the only thing i missed from my old nokia 6233 that there's not available in my k618i are Radio and good video recording, but since i rarely use both of them, so its okay.
- for memory, k618 has 18Mb available free of internal memory, u can compare with 6233 that only less than 6MB free. but u can use external dude.
- the sound, this one i need to mention to u guys, 6233 has very good sound if u heard on speaker and it feel stereo and u can fell the bass, but k618i is quite loud enough dude, even i think k618i has louder than 6233 but maybe stereo since it has only one speaker in the back. but when u heard from headset, I MUST admit it, i like this k618i, u can set manual the equalizer, i swear that!
- and for me, the last thing is the java, u can playing almost java games that my nokia 6233 don't. and it can generate the sound of the game, i compare with several same games with my nokia 6233.
u know the only difficulties of me is the typing but it only about the habit, and it will used to it.
i planning to buy 6210 before i bought k618i, but u know the sound, camera and the symbian makes me triple thinking. hihihi.
yeah, but it my personal so far.

Wow this phone is the best series 40 phone you could ever have. It is better than most Sony Ericsson and Motorola phones. The best thing about this is the QVGA TFT screen, the Music/FM player,3G connectivity and lastly the loudest speakers you could ever hear in a mobile phone. It is the loudest mobile phone in the planet and nothing can beat its speakers. I am certified Nokia 6233 addict. I surely recommend this phone to all you guys. It is one of the best phone you could ever have.
Hi every one. Can anyone tell me about this handset. Is there any other software which can be installed in 6233
sorry to dissappoint u that I have yet to own my own 6233 just yet....therefore I couldnt comment or give my inputs on those criterias that u have enquired...
anyway, I am currently looking at a used 6233 (since I will be using it at my work place, dont really need a new one)....while browsing that phone, I have realised its missing a whole lot of original content...
therefore, could anyone help to point me to a direction where I could download those original 6233 content files....
or in another way, I have also been thinking of flashing this 6233 to the latest firmware eventho its current firmware is at the latest...will flashing help me to regain the original content files...
please reply if anyone has the answer...thanks!
Hi friends, I have a problem with my 6233. I cant fast-forward or rewind videos. Do you think its the firmware. thanks
I've changed 63 phones until now.. And nokia 6233 is simply my favourite.. Its unbeatable.. VGA camera (N Series or E Series wanna challenge?).. Stereo sound.. Loudest mobile till now.. Not like transister pocket radio.. But like a super car stereo.. Day light photos super.. Saves bigger files direct to the microSD.. Stereo bluetooth.. The features go on and on and on.. Will the absence of flash beat all these? NEVER..
