thanks for ur comment but u didnt exactly answer our question correctly...
we were wondering how does the mp3 ringtones sounds like when there is a incoming call, does it sound soft at first and ascends to higher sound as time goes on or does it work like those SE W and K series phones where the sound is loud till the call is answered...
thanks and regards....
hi guys rate the features of this phone 6233 "out of 10" how much you wanna rate it in the field:
2. Media Player (Stereo or not)
3. Playist on Speaker and Earphone
4. Color Display
6. Speed of opening application
7. Video Player
8. FM Radio
10.Any other features that you guys wanna rate it then do it.
@bart & abc123
In my opinion it is better to listen through the 6233 speaker than the e398 (don't know with the alcatel). With an expansion card slot up to 2 gb you can save more songs and uncompressed too.
Using mp3 as ringtone it may not be loud enough (unless u edit it first). My setting for ringtone is 4 (out of 5) and I sometimes miss a call at home.
Again, it's my humble opinion..but man, does it rock!!!
Dowload SWITCH Software trial version from the link below and convert your mp3 to aac and add more songs to your phone.
I am seconding bart's question...anyone has the correct answer???
thanks for ur reply....
Have owned this phone for over a year now..
-Great stereo speakers
-Vid records in good 640x480..haven't found any phone yet, besides N Series.
-Many games to play :-)
-No flash, not recommended under low light conditions
-Low phone memory
-Not able to send picture message (only recieve)
-No Office application available yet(hey, isn't it a business phone?)
Those are my opinion..
How this phone sounds, when listening music on the speakers and when mp3 used as a ringtone,i want to know is the sound quality similar to Alcatel 853 and Motorola E398 or is it better ???
I Got this phone a few months ago...and I´ve to say that it´s faster than other Nokias including those with Symbian...it has a pretty nice video resolution!!! even better than some Serie N Phones, some SonyE, and Motorola.......as of today, I´ve no problems with it...
I think it´d be cool and awesome to have a Nokia 6233i with a 5MP Carl L Camera, camera flash, express on covers, a second camera, and a GB Internal Memory.......
Please I got this fone bout a month ago & I'm having problems with fast-forwarding/rewinding videos(nothing happens when i try to do so). Please i nid your help. I dont know if its becos of my firmware version(V 05.10). Tanx in advance

sugar, u are rite about the chinese copied 6233...
take a look at the following links on this matter....
seeing from the so called nokia clones by those chinese, I wonder why cant nokia introduce touch screen in their devices, I am sure if the chinese can do it, so can nokia rite....
blizz, this is a series 40 3rd edition phone and not series 60...take note..
May I know, is this series 40, 60 or 80 based phone? I'm actually looking for series 60 or N series phone...
To increase the battery time go to settings -phone- network mode and switch to GSM (if you don't need UMTS) and the battery life will increase up to 8 days. many complain about tot having video call, just turn the camera and this is it. The menu is great (and fast compared to Simbyan), video is great, camera is modest compared to other models but usable. A minus is the internal memory ,6 mb max but you can plug a 2 GB micro sd card
Overall great phone
the chinese have already copied the 6233 ..
its got touchscreen !!!!!!!!!
It's the best phone for me. Nothing can compare even the Nseries. By the way, I just wanna ask everybody especially the users in the Philippines if you can make video streaming with your Nokia 6233. I try to stream using Smart and it was successful. How about in the Globe network, especially the free live streaming? I'll for your response, thank you so much! Just send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
