hehehe 6233 is better than 6300 feature wise...though 6300 looks better and is slimmer...
6233 has this feature that the 6300 doesnt have...
6233 has VGA video a wonderful feature and is mostly the main selling point of the phone though mostly overlooked by people looking for a quality still imaging cellphone
clearer than most of the comp in video recording it is only topped by n93 and n95 as these fones have video at 30fps/sec unlike 6233 which only has a framerate capture of 15fps (common to mobile phone these days)
imo 15fps is good enough as long as your hands arent shakey ^_^
and 6233 has stereo speakers hehehe louder than the comp only trumped by 6270 (by a little bit and the new 6110 navigator, which they say is a bit louder)
my 6233 with a sucky 3.70 firmware doesnt lag even with a 2gb micro sd card in it hehehe and it doesnt restart as often when I switched from a 2gb transcend micro sd memory card to a sandisk memory card sandisk is the best imo followed by toshiba heheheeh
the only problem that I have with my 6233 is that
sometimes when I change themes...the ring tone and sms alert tone...doesnt work it only sounds like the phone is farting...making a hissing noise initially I thought it was just part of the theme I was using (I was using re4 themeI thought the hissing noise was part of it hehehe coz it sounds scary ^_^)
and it restarts sometimes when I try to access the memory card (though it's frequency was lessened when I used sandisk mmc)
I guess all these are just firmware related maybe upgrading it will finally eliminate these probs eheheh
6233 is an upgrade from 6230i sooo naturally 6233 is better barring the fact that 6230i does 1000 contacts and 32mb internal memory everything that the 6233 has is better than the 6230i hehehehe
When i tried to take a still image with maximum zoom the image quality was very full. I had setted to maximum quality but the image which was captured was in 320x 240 size. Plz suggest
6233 Uses digital zoom. Meaning, it's the same picture that you get when you are not zooming, so it's basically just dividing the dimension of the unzoomed picture by 8 (full zooming is 8x) so ideally, you should get a 100x150 pic, but nokia has approximately set minimum to 160x120, effectively giving 10x digital zooming. Anyway, so the point is, you can't get a zoomed-in picture with the same dimension as the unzoomed.
Currently I M having 6230i over here. Can anybody say, should I dispose it & buy 6233, or not???

i really like this phone but as always i am still a little uncertain about buying it. i was also thinking of nokia e50, as it has a feature that 6233 doesnt: document viewer. i see that 6233 has a messaging feature called 'email' but does this mean that i can use outlook on it or outlook is just for the ones that have document viewer? if anyone can help me in deciding which phone to pick, i look forward to your comments. thanks
what's the difference between 6233 and 6234? :-/ except the way they look :P
