can anyone please tell me how to forward and rewind videos on 6233.i tried every option but i cant find how to do it.pls..pls..help me.
I was just going through the opinions of the people in this forum abt nok6233.Most of the guys are comparing Nokia 6233 with 5200.I have personally used the tow phones.i Would say that if u r someone who is listening music through headphones then nokia 5300 is the better option( it could match with the low end walkman series of SE) while if u wanna losten through speakers then 6233 is great option coz it's very loud and clear.
I also saw people comparing abt the imaging capabilities of nokia 6233 with nokia 6630. i would like to say that Nokia 6630 although being 1.3 MP..is still far ahead of Nokia 6233(2 Mp)
Guys i would say that If u want better multimedia options then go for 5300 or SE walkamn, while if u r looking for some business features or better 3G connectivity then go for 6233.
Can Any one suggest me how to do the rewind and forward function when watching a Video ...... Well we can forward or rewing the music layed on Music Player .... How to do that with Videos
@ Gem .....
See this is a common problem with 6233 .... when its processing goes overloaded then it automatically reboot its basic functions to work properly... As you are saying that video messages are going but not the picture messages .... I suggest you to take backup of your contents of Phone memory .. remove memory card and do restore factory settings (original phone settings) then try to access it once again ... I am sure it will work fine then ...
Nokia 6233 does support and playback *.wma files. I've tried and its work.
This was the phone I liked the most, but it disappointed me b/c when I bought it on the next day it got signal problem.so now it can't recieve none of Signals. I totally Hate this phone and request u people not to buy it for any COST.
hey guys can any one PLEASE help me!
i have been using this phone fore ages and had no troubles sending picture messages!! recently i tried to send one and when i clicked the send button on a photo my phone like resets itself..as in the screen goes white...thinks for a second then goes back to normal page...and if i try doing this a few times then the phone turns off!!!
after searching the internet i sent myself the GPRS configuration settings incase they had been reset...but that didn't work either...can anybody help???
oh by the way..and important note is that i can still send video messages..just not picture messages!!
uummm... I don't seem to remember myself saying that 5300 is better than 6233. Perhaps you mistook me for someone else? It could get confusing to read all the comments on here you know. =)
For me, 6233 is better than 5300 in most respects. =)
Frndz, in my earlier 6610i there was facility that after battery gets drained if u again switch on it used to give some minutes of extra talk time.
But this fone doesnt have that facility. Infact it never switch on once battery gets off.
Plz let me know whether above facility can be availed in this mobile.
can this phone be locked? so i can prevent others form using my phone?
well i think this one is cool, this phone was made by thinking a lot, although the outlook was not so much delightful though we don't care about look. We just need some extra works. Sound system is good but need to be much more rich in bass and treble function. Video streaming is not good one. There must need a flash light for capture a picture...
After this I'm satisfied, this is really third generation phone...
Hi, i recently bought the phone ... its sound quality is great specially through the speakers. one question though the battery goes only about 2 days at max considering my usage is not much and yhat its a 1100mh battery?
Its a perfect phone. It has everything! the sound & vdo quality is awsome.
One more thing:
I bought a 6085 for my brother-in-law and it had a problem. It switched off and wouldn't turn back on.
Nokia guy told me (after he "fixed" it) that the old sim cards need more voltage (I think he said like 5v) versus the newest ones that need only 3v. He said that on newer phones that could cause problems, and also use up your battery much faster.
What is your guys opinion ??
I've had the phone for about 6 months now and no problems at all. Very pleased with it, even though I can't use all it's abilities-my contract is pretty limited (no internet access, no video calls).
Only thing is some video files put on card from computer which are pretty large, like 20 mb, don't play perfect. Voice is delayed, picture stutters a little. But on some it's fine, like the actual problem is with the transfer, the file's problem.
I don't have the latest firmware (don't remeber exactly which) but no problem at all.
AWESOME volume and sound quality !!!
It also depends on the file I think. 128 bit rate is lowest, 256 for example sounds better. I have a "crystal case". It has saved me a few times and is very practical.
Hi,I bought 6233 just two days ago.Its a wonderful phone. The camera and speakers are really good. But the player is very simple.I mean you cant make playlists. Can anyone tell me if I can install another player for it and also how to lock my memory card as I dont anybody to access it other than me.Pls help.
This phone has one very major flaw. There is only one camera, and it's on the back. This phone supports video calls. That means whenever you make a video call, either you can see the other party, or they can see you - but NOT both. You actually have to put the phone up to a mirror to see the screen and have them see you at the same time.
