To Yanipopo.. thanks for clearing the confusion made by 786 about 6233 with bose speakers... i was wondering howcome bose speakers can be on low price mobile unlike
I am planning to buy a smart phone which at least a camera of 2MP.Kindly help me .Should i go for N series like N 72 or a nokia 6233.I f I switch loyaly how about a Sony 750i.Comparing the prices 6250/6233/N72.What I have heard is N72 is a bit slow.
How about downloading softwares in 6233.
dammmmmmmmm........my mistake......i got confused.....i still wonder what company make the speakers in 6233...nokia...make them...??
UGH, 6233 DOESNT HAVE ONE. if music edition, it has a stereo like stand. but BOSE SPEAKERS is for the n70, n73 music edition and n91 8gb version. 786, u got it all wrong. BOSE SPEAKERS are not built in and would never be.
I need an antivirus for my phone because it might get unknown viruses. Can anyone help me to solve this matter? Hope to here from u soon!!!!
wow i didnt think BOSE made the speakers you would, have thought nokia would want to advertise that!
is the usb cable of this phone CA-53???
can this phone run also with CA-70 usb cable??
to 786... whats ur opinion about Fahdeen Ali's comments about bose speakers for N6233?
this is very nice music phone.to use nokia ad-41 handfree .music quality to compare n73.
I've found this site to be very useful so far as i've managed to learn so many new things about the N6233. Keep up the good work!!
I've posted this query before but did not get any responses. I hope some of you can help me out.
It's regarding the 'call waiting indicator' (or rather the lack of it!) for the N6233. In previous nokia models (for e.g. the old N8250 which by the way is an excellent simple and basic phone), when i am attempting to call someone on that other person's handphone but he is currently engaged on the line, what i can see / hear on my old N8250 after i press the call button is (i) a short audible 'toot' sound followed by (ii) the words "Waiting" shown on the screen for a few seconds, indicating the person i am trying to call is currently engaged on the line. When i know i am on call waiting, i will immediately hang up so that the other person can call me back whenever he has finished instead of having to interrupt his call midway.
However for the N6233, it doesnt seem to have this 'call waiting indicator' i.e. when i make a call using the N6233 and the person i am trying to call is engaged, my N6233 only flashes the "Waiting" message on screen for a few seconds, but there is no audible 'toot' sound at all. Personally, the flashing of the "Waiting" message on screen for a few seconds without any audible 'toot' sound isn't very helpful since we wont be looking at the screen most of the time especially when one is using the hands free kit.
I would like to check with you guys as to whether there is any way i can switch on the 'toot' sound on my N6233 or how to make the sound more audible (if at all possible)like in the older nokia models?
Really appreciate your responses, thanks very much.
I have seen that in asia this mobile is availible as 6233 Music Edition and has a 512 mb card included and a music stand but it's colour is white:(. And the music edition suports Wma files and has some updates, but not very important. I hope that the music edition will be soon available in europe , because i want to buy it:D
I don't think the 6233 has BOSE speakers....otherwise they would have mentioned it in the nokia website.....and the document supplied with the fone
yes plzzz upgrade the version firmware it will fix all the problems and make the phone faster the camera quality will get better and video quality will improve basically it will improve everything in the phone...i havent upgraded mine yet..its still V3.70 ...im gonna upgrade as soon as possible...
Had a 6131 for a bit.
Now have the 6233 plugged in for the first time, waiting for the battery to charge...
Can't wait. Wasn't going to buy a Nokia but couldn't find a phone with 240x320 screen, 2MPix camera, VGA video, memory card, Stereo LOUDspeakers FOR THE PRICE...
All this in theory of course. Can;t wait to test it out !
