With regards to the stereo loudspeakers, they are decent but not exceptionable.
You can't really make out that it's stereo due to the way the speakers are built into the phone (on the sides, facing outwards) but the sound produced is loud and clear enough for listening to the FM radio and music anyway. Don't expect too much in turns of bass though.
I own the black version and it definitely DOESN'T look cheap. The silver side rim contrasts nicely ing against the phone's main body. The rubberised back cover feels nice in the hand. Plus the build is sturdy.
In terms of performance, it's fast in all its basic functions. Fast menu navigation and fast texting which are important to me. So far, I haven't encountered any lags.
The other thing is the display. It's simply beautiful for a phone of this price range.
On the other hand, I find the pictures taken to be a bit of a disappointment for a 2MP cam. Colours appear a little washed out and sharpness is lacking even in good lighting situation. However, it doesn't really bother me as I rarely use it to take pictures anyway.
Overall, after much research and hunting, I find Nokia 6233 to be the best value for my money. I get lots of functionality like bluetooth, FM radio, stereo loudspeakers, 2MP cam, 3G capability plus a decent sounding headset. I bet you won't find a better 3G phone in this price range.
Another software similiar to "Mobile Secretary" is "Watchman".
By the way do anyone know where to get the cracked full version of "MobyExplorer" or it serial number ??
Hello, thank you for your reply, the given link http://www.mbsecretary.com/ is not a valid link.
Hi guys. Where can i find Flash wallpapers and screensavers (in .swf format) for my 62333. Is it possible to copy that sudoku game to the new memory card?
A lot of themes can be found in mobile9.com
Hi guys. I've joined the N6233 club. All i can say is that the phone has stunned me with its performance.I had N 6630 previously.(I got the phone for 26k when it was introduced). The sound effects in 6233 is much better. It has some bass element too.6233 wont disappoint u. It's sleek, fast and is cheap.I'm happy with 512MB card.I'm afraid 1 GB wud slow the phone down. Camera is inferior when compared to my expectations. But VIDEOS are great.U can view the videos in full screen in ur computer monitor and still praise them.Overall,6233 has impressed me a lot.
I think this software should never disappoint you, it called "Mobile Secretary" at "http://www.mbsecretary.com/"
Does this phone has a feature wallet/ personal notes to store your personal information securely and make available at any time? This feature is available in N6230i and N6610i.
If not then is there any software which will provide this feature?
Continuation of the below part. Now I want to buy n6233 as I have limited money and this is a budget phone. What is your opinion about its looks(specially in black)or any other colour.Does this phone looks cheap or I am wrong? Is the phone styllish and looks according to its cost. And how is the sound through stereospeakers. Is the sound better and louder than n3250.Should I buy n6233.Please reply me.
Thanks again Trevor, very very much for your reply.I want a suggestion from you.I have previously used n6270,that was a good phone with stereospeakers but I sold that in order to have a symbian s60 phone and bought N72.But after that I realised that n6270 was better as N72 is very slow and the music is not so impressive, screen resolution is also not so good.To be continund......
For those who want to have a powerful file explorer likes program for browsing their files and quick access on the phone, this software will do and it called "MobyExplorer".
For those who upgraded their 6233 phone firmware to version 4.52, please use the Nokia PC Suit version 6.82 for full compatibility (Remember not 6.81 version).
One more thing I want to share with you all that microsoft excel sheet can be done on this phone. All you need to do is to get this program called "MiniExcel".
Hey...I was wondering if there is a differnet media player for this phone? I have 295 songs on a 2gb memory card...But when I'm on all music, and try to play the last 20 or so songs, it skips from say 290 song 30! Someone help please...
The phone's Image Editor allows you to do very limited things such as cropping, adding frames and text to pics. I think that's about all, not much of an image editor per se but I guess it's more for times when you want to edit a pic quickly to send via MMS.
If you need to do things like changing hues, contrast, brightness etc, you'd want to probably do it on a PC and then transfer the edited pics to the phone using a cable or bluetooth.
I'm using Nokia's CA-57 cable is USB 2.0 type, so file transfer between PC and phone is extremely fast.
Hope it helps clears your doubts.
Thanks for your reply Trevor.Thank you very very much. But what about the picture editor? Please reply me.I will be thankfull to you.
to all 6233 users...
do this phone support WAV tones?...
pls. pls. answer my question..
because i'm planning to buy this phone at the end of november...
I'm using the supplied HS-23 earpiece to listen to music on my Nokia 6233.
I rate the sound quality as very good, considering it's primarily a mobile phone.
The sound is very clear, though the bass can be stronger.
Then again, earpiece do play a huge part in such things, so you could get an audio adapter and plug in better earphones such as Seinnheiser or Sony ones for better sound reproduction.
Please help me guys. Please please please reply me.I will be thankfull to you.Does n6233 has equilizer that can be edited and how is the sound through the earpiece. Is the sound loud and clear through the earpiece? And also I want to know that does this phone has a picture editor in it and If it has than what type of "good or average".Please reply me friends.
