I'm quite fussy when it comes to phones, I need it to be easy to use, no faffing about and intuitive to use. I hated my last 3 phones, but this is a breath of fresh air. Simple navigation, excellent sound, great customisation and most importantly for me, bluetooth links straight to my PC when in range and updates my schedule. 10/10
Its like my life is nothin when i gave my N-6233 to my brother. It is so good that it can beat any motorola brand or even some N series like N-70,71,72..........
and this phone is a 3g phone and this means that this phone will work in Japan and every country
the standby time on this phone is 340 hours which is 14.1666667 days. Please send me a message. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I love to get messages from loads of people.I have got this phone
hi im planing to buy this phone soon but the thing is i wanna know if you can use its wifi features and how long does the battery last, and can u make the test font bigger?
i'm going to buy this phone in dec.i like it's stereo speaker and vga video recording. the minor disadvantage only the less of autofocus and lens.
After reading the review from this phone, and being this close at buying its little cousin i'd respectively insert (the nokia 6230i), i was glad i chose the nokia 6233, as the previous phone i owned was a nokia 6230 and it was one of the best phones i had. great package over all, a very solid phone, an impecable working interface as well! i love the critical reviews this site gave the phone because, it helped drown ne possible hype brought to thier tested handsets when deciding if this would be a good investment. i didn't find the handset to be that large at all! seems bigger in pictures... i may agree that this phone could have used a front camera for 3g servies (aka video conferences). but i also remind myself that i live in America and this being my first bought unlocked phones--3g services are still in development in my country and are still rolling out sssslllooowly. im trying to think of ne possible flaws with the phone thus far and i havn't had ne. by the way, the camera ain't that bad and the video recording is exciting--obviously not as good as the n series we've seen but still amazing for the price and its own right.
ne questions? holla!
p.s. battery life? managable- must charge nightly, have yet to test out the software, and ne reportings about crashes, i've had a few instances but its not that bad, phone pops right back on and it rarely happens. plus dont forget the 90 day warrent people, i sure didn't.
Hi, im Umer from PK, i just got this phone last week.. its an excellent phone with louder sound and good camera...best solution for youth...thx NOKIA
Well, to me this phone looks like everything. Infact it has got everything. But there are few doubts in my mind with the most dominating one being the 6MB user memory. What is all about that? Can somebody explain me is there anything wrong with so less user memory? And yeah one of the flaws of this set is its looks. Nokia must have given it a better look for everything else is simply SUPERB about this candy.
I'll choose Nokia 6233 over K750. I owned a Nokia 6233 and it's a great phone to me. It also depends on what features you want. Nokia has larger and sharper screen, looks cool and it's more new compare to K750. I don't really like the joystick in K750. The only good thing bout K750 is it's camera, which is sharper and clearer. So far, there's no problem with my phone :)
Hello guys! just want to ask why my 6233 has a low signal and even if i have a signal sometimes to phone cannot be reached or not available. does it have something to do with UMTS and GSM networks? I tried switching to GSM mode only and the signal was ok. Thnx!
Gprs not open i can,t send any picture to every one ang also i connot download what ever i want.
does this phone have a message counter???? please check it and let me knwo../..
Can anybody tell me if this phone can recieve files through bluetooth larger than 6mb?
Cant be positive about this phone or Nokia here, yet again rushed released handsets plagued with software faults. returned my 2nd handset in 5 days to c/w for a firmware update to resolve the problems ie crashing playing video and mp3`s and power saver function going u/s after bluetooth been on, plus few other minor niggles. Only to be informed that authorised nokia repair center tried updating but phone crashing half way through update. It has been returned to Nokia for diagnosis and repair, after 1 day, oh please. All the reasons i went to Samsung last year have all come crashing back again, cmon Nokia sort yourselves out. For those interested it was on firmware revision 3.70, it can stay on it as far as im concerned cause as soon as it comes back, gonna cancel contract. Back to Samsung again.
just got a 6233 yesterday. the shop where i bought the unit was the one who inserted my SIM in it... i need to swap my SIM, and i can't open the back. been pressing the ridges on the backside and sliding it off, but still it won't slide. i don't know if i'm just being too careful because it's new... is it really that difficult to slide open?
I just got a 6233, and i love this phone. i also have a 6230i. nokia has surely improved on the 6230i in the 6233. the dual stereo speakers are great and the sound qualiyt is good. they seemed to have revamped the OS aslo. though its still a Java based OS but it has quite a number of features like the Symbian. the phones boot up and response is quite fast. however i found a flaw in it.in my shortcuts there is no shortcut to the inbox for the right shortcut key ( i had it in the 6230i). 6233 allow messages t be stored in the memory card so u can save on the phone memory. the configuration options are quite abundant.the supplied memory card is quite less in capacaity, they should have provided a higher capacity one keeping in mind the lower capacity of the phone memory(6230i had a phone memory of 32Mb and a MMC of 64MB supplied)so i'm thinking of upgrading my memory card. i need to know that has anyone used a CA-53 data cable for the 6233. i have tried the DKU-2 cable it works fine but i was not able to copy the files in the memory card to my hard disk (i usually backup my MMC cards to my hardisk). each time there was an error stating that the file could not be copied, the file may be in use. i checked the attributes, the files are all readonly, hidden, archived. does the ca-53 cable support more features than the dku-2. the memory card bundled with the phone has most of the ringtones, collection and the games.
