I'm having trouble getting the java programs to connect to the internet. I can browse webpages via wap over gprs and send / recieve MMS via gprs, but I can't get the java programs to use gprs, which is bad since I have opera mini on it and a msn client. If someone can help, please tell!

Friends pls suggest 512mb or 1 gb card for 6233. which 1 shall i buy? both fine wid me.
i cant praise this phone enough. i have been looking for a really good phone for absolutely ages and this has hit the spot! i wouldnt recommend anything else! every feature you could want from a phone, its got it, i love it! altho it feels slightly bigger than my previous 6230.
James.. I think you need a smart phone to be able to use GPS on it, i also have a 6630 using tom tom but that is it a smart phone. As far as i'm aware this isnt a smart phone so you wont be able to get a gps sat nav (if thats what you meant) on it?
i am having this phone its very good but i have 1 query pl do reply me i have downloaded my videosongs but i am not able to see them i want to know whether is there any software to download to see my videosongs & from where should i download them tell the website pl i have purchased this on very next day of its launch i am eargerly waiting to see those videosongs
I have a bluetooth GPS and 6233 phone. While I could find quite a few mapping programs for my older phone 6630 (Symbian series 60), I am unaware of any for this model. I have downloaded Google Maps program on this phone, but this does not have GPS support.
Can anyone please suggest a suitable software compatible with this phone for GPS support?
Also I use this phone as a modem for my laptop using UMTS service available in certain parts of Italy. How to find the actual data speed from the phone? On 6630 I could use Connection Manager.
I bought this phone just two days back from Livorno and the firmware version was v.03.70 dtd 15-05-06. (Roger please note).
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this phone with its UMTS/EDGE/GPRS support and excellent audio quality.
All those who wish to buy a new mobile with latest features at the coolest of price, I'll say you need to look no further. I just bought 6233 a few days back and believe me, the more I have used it, deeper I have fallen in love with it. It has got almost all the features the new Nokia N series boasts of yet at a price tag that is slightly more than the good old S60 series. I will enlist its features one by one.
1. It's sound quality is as good as any walkman mobile ( Its got dual stereo speakers as well as a ROCK U headset)
2. You name the software that you might have been using in your earlier mobiles like 6600s or 7610s, to make them trendier, and bang there it is factory installed in the mobile software itself. You no longer need softwares like video ringtones, FS Caller, Flexi Cam, SMS counter, MP3 Player with equalisers, Smart Movies, Photo Splash, Memory Card lock, World clock and countless others.
3. As already mentioned it has got almost all the latest N Series Feature.
To cut the long story short, I mobile realy made to be bought.

Than you can choose SE K610i/m, you get 1000 name, lighter handset and you can do video calling real time but you loose radio, infra red and double speaker.
What do you think?
Has this 6233 ability just to read (not to edit) microsoft or PDF?
No. the centre button is a one way (press) button. to scroll left rite up down u press the respective parts surrounding the centre button
Guys/Gals having a 6233 pls tell me how many of u use 512 mb card & how many 1 gb? Will 1 gb make it too slow? Thanx
I like this awesome phone but about the 5-way navigation key, do we need to press, or is it a "analog" stick tht we have to push-up-and-down.
Just like Sony, analog tends to spoil everything in a phone.
I like this phone but the battery seems to be a downfall. Is tht true? Correct me if i'm wrong.
Hi I was wondering if anyone new how to activate the Push-to-talk on the 6233? The Manual says that you go to the menu than PTT but I can't find how to do it......
I still would like to know
how is the battery in this phone doing? "
Pretty good, he was a bit upset earlier in the week but he seems to be feeling much better now. I haven't seen him since yesterday though so things might have changed.
500 contacts is more than enough. If you need more, buy 2 phones.
No doubt about. This is a very good phone. The only gripe I have about this phone is the Contacts Memory. I can't live with only 500 contact in phone memory. I seriously think Nokia needs to increase the contact memory of it's S40 version of phones to at least 1000!!!!! Nokia, can you read this???? You need to increase it to at least 1000. It's the only thing that is stopping me from getting this beauty!!!! Otherwise, like I've said....it's a damn pretty good phone!
