Hi guys, am leaving my 6230i for 6233, but can anyone tell me the maximum length for the 6233's video & audio recordings and if one can transfer an MP4 file with 50MB capacity via bluetooth or infrared?. Thanks. "Austine"
hey people... pls pls can u guys tell me one thing- did the fone come with the data cable in the box? especially sum1 from south africa but anywhere is fine. pls answer and thanks :-)
Is it a program that helps upgrade (still need new soft) or is it a new software for this Nokia?
I just spoke to Nokia, and was told that on the UK website (www.nokia.co.uk/support) there will be a program that end users can upgrade their own software. It is being launched either today or tomorrow.
great fone, shame about the internal memory. the mem card is for music and pickys only
Wipe your nose hobbledehoy...
Series 6xxx is dedicated to business class and has to be conservative. Personally I think it's gorgeous, a little bit better looking then 6230i.
If only it had better software... Anyone knows something about a new one?
pls, can anyone tell me if an mp4 player which consumed about 20MB can be transfered to the nokia 6233 via infrared or bluethoot? because I wonder how that is possible since it's internal memory is just 6MB. Am using the nokia 6230i(with it's 32MB internal memory) which allows me to do such transfer before saving to my memory card and am thinking of purchasing the 6233 bcos of it's sound quality U guys talked about, but the 6MB gives me a great worry for such operation. Any help will be highly appreciated by me. Thanks in advance. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
This is in regards to a few queries.. I read on GSM Arena
The inbuilt memory on the phone is 6 Mb (Internal) its comes from 64 MB memory card
Supports up to 1 GB of expandable, microSD memory
Hot Change/ Swap means you can remove your card while keepin the phone switched on.. u don't need to switch off ur phone while doin so.
Hey guys, just bought the 6233 phone and overall i think it is a good phone in terms of the total package.
Just that, the battery does not last long enough. I have to charge my battery every 2 days. I tried to switch to Power Saver mode in order to save up my battery, but unfortunately the mode was not activated. I really do not know why. Anyone can enlighten me on this?
Also, how do you convert the mpeg file to 3GP file?
Anybody can tell me what's the phone limit for storing SMS messages?
I've added my email addy on the list here. Just click on the "email" thingy to get in touch ok?
Video calling is a feature this phone sports, however the very narrow minded people at Nokia decided to produce a phone that allows video calling WITHOUT a secondary camera. Reason why - NO idea. They might have thought it looked funky, who knows??
hie, those who have this phone, how do you do video calling? there isn't any camera at the front rite? what is the point if you cant see face to face during video calling???
it is avaible everywhere in India ! its been launched here a while back..atleast everywhere in bombay for sure !
hope it helps
I have recently purchased a Nokisa 6233, which I think is a fantastic phone, however, I have an issue with the light on the phone. It seems to go out all the time, I have turned off sleep mode and power saver, but it still does it, does anyone know how to keep the light on for longer, or all the time.
Hope someone can help
I bought the 6233 last week and apart from the memory bit i think its ok. my problem is i downloaded a ringtone and wall paper saved it to memory card and put them on fone so they showed after i turn fone of they reset themselves every time even thou i have it so its reading memory card if anyone has any solutions on this it would be great but im thinking of sending it back as my 6680 just reads the memory card all the time.
