small problem with 6234
i have transfered music from cd, but the phone will only play one track at a time after every track it stops i have to return to specific cd and pick and play another track. all cd,s are stored in micro sd
please help robert
This is a good phone in most respects - fast, compact, good keyboard, well featured, easy to use, but with a few exceptions:
- the camera is poor in low light - very noisy and there is no flash, so effectively can't be used for any night shot. However camera is really quite good for daylight shots - good enough to consider using as your main camera.
- Although it can do video calls, it has no front video camera, so not really practical - you would have to flip the phone around all the time.
To answer some random questions (geez, you guys know this is not a forum right???)
I use a bluetooth connection to my laptop and I can happily copy MP3s, pictures etc across. I suppose if you can find a micro-sd reader for a pc you could put them on directly.
The internal memory (6MB) is poor but mine came with a 64MB memory card (NZ Vodafone) so who cares?
The back is black, the front is silver.
Reception is decent, nothing exceptional. 3G is nice and fast (the web browser is usable though a bit sluggish sometimes)
When using bluetooth, battery life is definitely decreased, but I haven't tested it in isolation. Using 3G internet and bluetooth, it went flat in basically one day, but that was heavy use. Normally it lasts about 3 days with small usage.
I do love the phone, however, like most here, it's the memory I have a problem with...
I can't take pics, change the theme or receive sms, because of lack of memory.
I've even resorted to deleting, practically every game and application on my phone, to get more memory. But still, the problem exists!!
Can anyone help me?? PLEASE????
Hi, does this really have 6MB? It says Black in colour but it comes in Silver. Please get back to me. I would be very grateful. Thank you...Shona.
I have the same problem as the guy below!

my nokia 6234 cannot connect to motorola v3 blue via bluetooth.Does anybody know why this is happening?
Can anybody let me know how long the battery lasts on the Nokia 6234 when using bluetooth?
i dont agree with everyone saying this phone is rubbish. the first one i had the camera didnt work properly but since it was a falt from the factory it was repaced not repaired. the batt is average but lasts longer than the one hour someone else posted. the buttons feel nice with the exception of the on off button and the menu is teriffic. it is the best value for money phone on the market.
its a great phone does everything i need like bluetooth, infrared, music, radio, calling, camera, exelent best phone ever
my nokia 6234 wont send multimedia pictures but will recieve them, anyone got any ideas?
bad battery , it doesn't last more than one hour speaking ...or maybe I wasn't that lucky to get a good battery...
this phone is great value and does everything one could want... plays music, the radio, videos and most of all make phone calls. I have not had a single problem with mine. Put in a 2g card and you have a portable music player... GOLD
Afetr having used this thing for 2 weeks, I have gone back to using trusty Nokia 1100. That's pretty bad... This is getting thrown back at Nokia and I'm gettin a refund.
The New Zealand version is rubbish, worst phone I have ever had, contant bugs, crashes, data corruptions. Our software is also severely limited, the MMS client is locked down to sendin .jpg and AMR, no midi's or mp3's sorry! "ascending ring" cannot be turned off, AVOID IT.
