I don't know what all you people are complaining about. The Nokia 6260's mp3 quality is superb. The infrared doesn't work like Bluetoth, you have to put the ports togehter.
Kyle Try SW version 3.0515.0

could someone tell me can i put a card slot up to 256MB did someone take that..

yeah.. i agreed with ranessa! everybody complains every phone that we browsed thru.. aww man.. come on??!!? nothing's perfect..??
I think that phone is the best of the smart phones series 60 because its easy to use, compatible and very useful.
The recieved Bluetooth messages by default save into the phone memory. To change it you have to save it and then enter the gallery and move the file to the memory card by selecting the "move" option. Hope that you have a great time with an excellent phone! Kyle
After reading other peoples comments I have to admit that I have had no problems with my mp3 player. The sound quality is excellent with great volume range. Throught the headset it is even better. You can hear it clearly even if a vacuum cleaner is on in the room. For those of you with problems of skipping songs, you have probably not loaded the mp3's on properly as I use the original Nokia PC suite and my mp3's are great. The camera although only VGA takes great photo's even when viewed on a PC. My volume key has not even begun to show any signs of losing it's paint and is used regularly. I wonder what type of treatment those people give their phones for it to do that. Nokia's deserve respect!!!
As a user of the Nokia 6260 for over 5 months now I am extremely impressed! As a Nokia fan and a user of my 9th Nokia phone I am definately impressed. The symbian operating system is a boon and ease of use is great. My only complaints would be of the lack of a outer screen to indicate the callers ID! The LED light is effective in indicating calls but doesn't beat a screen. As a Dialup Modem it is extremely useful. However I have experienced failures of the modem, restarting the phone corrects the problem. If the phone was 3G enabled witha better camera it would surely be a top seller. But then again you could just as well buy the N90!
u know somethin? i realize that everybody complains abt every single phone i've browsed through...
no.1, its juz a phone and none of them are perfect..its not like u WILL use every single feature on it...and downloadin lots of stuff does make ur phone slow down..n ur phone can get hanged too..it happens to almost any phone...what i think is, u should follow ur own instincts..u feel like buying it? go ahead and buy it...u wanna know the weakness of the phone u're about to purchase...then, u should investigate urself..there'll always be new models coming..
i am currently using 6670. i suggest all of you who want to take this phone better go for 6670. the positive points are 1MP camera and dashing design. also, MP3s play smoothly however not confirmed whether they're stereo or not but sound like stereo. if someone wants stereo sounds in real (in symbian) he should go for 6630 (i'm also looking for it nowadays).
6260 & 6670 are almost of same price!
a good day to all of you,,6260 is a nice nokia model,,,but there are some negative sides,,i have one which i bought last week,,and it explode i dont know why.may be ill ask the nokia center...but before it explode i sense all the features its all nice and for everyone, but ill tell you why you should buy a big fliptop model, its a waste of money...
I really like my 6260!!
da camera its good, the sound its good as well... i dont like 2 things: the ringtones are really bad!! but we can record or put mp3 to play!! so... not big problem... and the mobile when i turn on, take a long time to turn on!!! but... i can live with that!!!
i hope u enjoy it!!
all you pll how complane about this phone should not have one, ive got one itz a really great phone. cheap 4 a smart phone n only 2 of these style of phones where brough out from that phone comany. n90 and 6260.,itz bad that they dont make this phone anymore well n aus they dont . anywayz if ur after this phone dont listen 2 other pll n here if u want it get it u will not be dispointed. n who cares about tha mp3 player if u want a great mp3 player get n i pod or sothing becuase rember itz not a real mp3 player..
OS not working good, also camera quality is weak, paint going from the volume control buttons just after 1 month use, mp2 player not comfortable
I want 2 say that 6260 is da worst symbian phone ! I bought it , tried it , sold it & then got da 7610 !! its really better but if u r interested in playing mp3s via the dual headset u won`t be able to use da original one !! u should buy a cheap copy of da original headset and it will work prfectly , i tried it !!
