ur query is not clear.if u want to send polyphonic midi tone via mms u'll need to activate ur mms service.u cant send them just like an sms.
other way is to use bluetooth or infrared which are more reliable but ofcourse for very short distance.

How do you want to send the polyphonic?
Via bluetooth? Infrared?
Is it a Midi (mid) file format? or something else?

hi....i wan to ask someting....if somebody noe please lindly help me.my friends got send the polyphonic music 4 me,but when i wan to send it to my friends, it cnt.is that anything i 4got to open or what?but when i send it wif the mms(friend send me mms together with the polyphonic)it work.can any body can help me.....thank you very much.hope can give me the answer as fast as posible.

Hi Colin =)
Unfortunately you cannot lock the keypads if its closed facing out.
Once you close it, the keypad will automatically activate.

Men this is the phone just bought mine on saturday and been so happy I bought it.Pictures clear.Could rotate see ur self b/4 snapping.It quite an interesting phone.Can anyboby tell me how to view my ringing tones.Nice phone.NOKIA 4 LIFE.

Just bought 6260 the weekend and I am so pleased with it, just 1 question, does any1 know how to lock the keypad when you have the flip closed but screen still facing u.

For your web connection or GPRS, you need to contact your service provider so they can activate it on their end or instruct you on how to setup the configuration in the phone.
Nokia has nothing to do with GPRS settings and WAP/WEB configirations.

i've just bought this phone.
have faced one problem tho' i cant connect to the web, whenever i try to connect, they'll say check your connection settings. Do i call my service provider or do i call nokia for this? do i need to call my service provider to activate the GPRS?
another thing i didnt like about this phone would be the flimsy keys just below the screen

This phone is great.
Could some of the people that phone snaped tell me why it broke because mine is very stirdy and not loose in the slightest. This phones mp3 player is good if you convert your songs to be mono.When their in sterio they sound a bit shoddy. i paid 569$ au for mine and im loving it.I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PHONE

to the people that own this phone, does the following every happen to your phone:??
-doesnt open certain programs like SMS, MMS bluetooth etc..
-turns itself off when in the menu or even when speaking to someone?
i am thinking of getting this phone and ive seen people have problems with this phone on a uk website but havent seen it on any other websites (north american website)(i live in Canada) so i was wondering that maybe they have different phones made in the uk, so if you own this phone can you plz answer the 2 questionz

Just a few days ago I returned my 6260.
The speaker sound is not the best and also some buttons got problems.
I am further not very happy with the software.
Sub Sub Sub directories.
It needs a long time to get familiar with all functions.
But the design is realy nice.
Actually I bought it because the nice design and also because the famous brand.
Fomous brands are also not a guarantie for good quality.
Luckily I returned my phone in time and got the cash back - good service.

Hi Julian =)
The phone has an option to enable "active flip" or not. If its enabled, the call will be answered when you open the phone flip.
If its disabled, it will not answer the call yet when you open the flip: you would have to press the green talk button first.
So you have an option on how you want to answer the call.

hey, i am thinking of getting this phone but i was wondering....
now since there is no external screen then there is no caller ID, but i was wondering, if you get a call and you flip the screen open, does it automatically anser or do you still have to press the green talk button, because if you still have to press the green button, it is better because you can check who is calling on the internal screen, thank you very much
