This phone sucks along with all other nokias. its almost like nokia keeps coming out with bad phones after bad phones on purpos because they never get any better. This was the last nokia phone I ever buy.

hey, kent...lee,
when you were posting you question did you not read the Posting rules? Because they say that you have to read before you post because your question may have been asked and ANSWERED just a several post ago! When I read that I thought "Oh, come on, no one could be that stupid." but now here you come asking about a site with apps and games when I post the biggest sites with apps and games, I know, just five post bellow your post. So what I'm trying to say is: OK, if you don't find the info you need at the last 2-3 pages you can ask it again becase no one wants to read a whole book of 50 pages but don't come here posting questions when you heven't read anything.

Well i bought my Nokia 6260 about a month ago. I was very shocked to see how did Nokia published this kind of horrible model.
The design:
A big and uncomfortable phone. The fact that the keyboard is devided by two, makes the SMS writing very difficult and long. A big disadvantage is the dead inches down the keyboard which could have been used for something else than making the phone just larger.
The ergonomics:
Concering the fact this phone is manufactured by Nokia, the ergonomics is terrible. a very complex journey for very simple targets. like deleting all the pictures/msgs/Docs you need to go to "Options"- "Mark/unmark"-"Mark all"-"Options"-"Delete"-"Delete all X msgs/pictures"-"Yes".
Above all this the menu key is placed in the left side, between the two keys. while the front key is incharge of the contacts. very uncomfortable!
malfunctions:
- The volume key doesn't change the volume hight.
- Many times the last calls that were recieved or dialled were not registered in the "Call register".
- Delayed responses to key pushing.
-The music from the loudspeaker is very low qualitied, and could not be compared to nokia 6230 for example!
Advantages:
- The screen quality is very good! (65,536 colors within 176 x 208 pixels)
- The switchable screen allows self-picturing, which is not possible in most Nokia phone models.
- Capability for playlists in the Quiktime player.

Does anyone with T-Mobile's 49.99 Family Plan know which of 6260's functions are free to use? Like Push-To-Talk, Presence, Bluetooth, etc.

To check your firmware you have to key in *#0000* but not #*0000* as it was posed previously.
When I do it it shows up the following info:
V 3.0448.0
03-12-04
RM-25
I suppose the firs two lines are the version and the date of the version but I don't what does RM-25 means (I also noticed that it's also written at the back of the pdone as it's showed on this picture http://store3.data.bg/slavyan/Nokia/47.jpg )
Please could someone eexplain to me what does that RM-25 mean and what is it for. And also please tell me if anyone of you has a newer version of the firmware so that that I can know if I have to update mine one or not.

Ok, because a lot of you want me to send them applications and I really want to do it but I'm too lazy to do it.
SO now I'm posting a great page with hungreds of apps. The only problem is that the page is in bulgarian (my language) but considering the fact that the names are in english it shouldn't be that big problem for you. It has a lot of things but I don't think it has the program that make your mp3 stereo so please somebody send it to me in a_b_v_kanovski@abv.bg . The site with the applications is:

Hello all !!! i am desperate... i really need help on this problem. I`ve bought an USB cable and it didn`t work ... now i bought a Nokia connectivity cable DKU 2 and the PC doesn`t find my phone ... i mean, i need the driver to install it(in my driver manager a question mark appears on the NOKIA 6260). can anyone help me ? send me the driver or a link to it ?

Hi dude, I would like to purchase a new Nokia phone for the replacement of my current one. I would go for NK6600 or 6260. Which is a better one? The main features I'm looking for is : Symbian OS, Loud Speaker, Loud Microphone, upgradable memory card.
