and download the torch for the 7650. It works for the 6260 as well and increase the screen brightness for a brighter torch..;)
Also, the cam is a 1.3megapixel, 1Gb card is supported etc..

Well, i've been using the 6260 for a month now.. It's AWESOME!! Get the ultra player, u can get stereo playback and it does support the themes, the ones started with the 7650 on to the 6600 n the 7610.. All the series 60 Nokia smartphones!!

i just bought a nokia 6260 yesterday, so far
ive only used it a couple of times, but the features are excellent and the flip out design is very slick. some of the major problems ive found are: the on/off button is totally wack, its in so deep i thought it was broken at first :/, i can't text message with one hand(well its possible, but u need a massive hand and good co-ordination), so that means i need to have both hands free to text :s(not good when your standing up on a bus) also the phone feels kind of slow at times, a bit like the lag of a computer, which reduces the pleasure of browsing through the menus. haven't listened to the mp3s yet, (apparently the quality is poor?) i have a mp3 anyway so probably not going to use the feature on the phone. my nokia came with 2 extra games, power dart and pro pool? did everyone else get these 2 games or did i just get lucky? apart from the few negative facts about the phone, nokia 6260 is a joy to use, its swirvel mode is definately an eye catcher and the camera on the side of the phone is perfect for catching those babes next to u unnoticed ;)

I've been using this phone for almost two weeks now. I love the size which doesn't cramp my hands while I'm SMSing. The MP3 function is divine, as is the Bluetooth capability. Now I listen to my MP3s on the move via Bluetooth headset- no wires! The battery life has not given any problem at all, even using my phone in this way.
I have some grouses though. It only came with one game! Snake! The SMS and Calendar functions sometimes quit (withtout saving) when you try entering a new word in the Spell function.
The "Go To" doesn't seem helpful at all as most of my desired applications don't offer the option of being added to the "Go To".
Another grouse is that I have to set my Alarm Clock everyday. Once I turn the Alarm off when I wake up, the Alarm function is turned off completely and I have to set it again that night.
I would also like to know why I am unable to open a Word document that was stored on my MMC card.
Finally, sometimes I am unable to move images or files from one folder to another. This is a mystery to me.
But, despite all this, I am still in love with my Nokia 6260!

i think if u choose a phone becuz of the cam, yes this is not the best cam phone. but if u go for other features, this is 100% a good phone in the price range

i like this fone.. it's great, and i think it's maximum mmc is 512 mb but if it has 1 gb it would even be much better.. anyways.. it has way better features than the 7270 and much cheaper... it has fm radio.. it's great... don't need mp3 anyways... and size does'nt matter for me.. hahaha.. too bad it has to rotate just to take pics.. well, better make the best of it..

changed mind, going for 6230. i can bear with small screen, low-res cam. But EDGE !! & durability of the body during lots of travelling - 6630 any comments ?!!

got the phone 2 months ago..still LOVEIN IT!! ofcouse the phone has some minor glitches but its aite..!! well 2 months ago it cost me $400 US dollers in NEW YORK. but its worth it. AH who said the cam sux?? its better than some of the other phones i know!

You have written that you have read lots of reviews but still you are asking such silly questions.
Obviously You can replace the existing memory card.
--If you have heard lots of problems with it then why still you wanna buy it???
--Your purpose is to get the internet on the move. You can get just maximum 9.6 Kbps with GPRS Connection. (Atleast with Hutch or AirTel). Go for 6630 with edge.
--Right now it is out of stock in New Delhi but Distributor Price in Delhi is Rs.15744/-

N6260 - read lot of software bugs. Can anybody tell, is it possible to upgrade the OS/firmware (maybe in future) by any means. do let me know general procedure/cost involved.

PS: i've studies lots of varied reviews on web for n6260. mostly complains abt poor cam, bit buggy, very delicate, no EDGE, confusing options, erratic behaviour on twists - cam starts, bit big to handle with 1 hand !!
still havnt decided my buy on this/other...request ur guidence
