Nokia 6260 - user opinions and reviews

Although is has all the functions that motivated me to buy but after using for one week, I changed to 6670.
The reason : The camera resolution look good at the phone screen but when download to the PC, it's worst than 6230.
SMS, very hard to use one hand and need both hand because the send and back buttons is on the screen side.
Video reording though is unlimted but the quality of the video sucks...
Worst of all, low resale value. Used one week and lost $100.(low response)
Bad experiences and now I treasure my 6670 even more-picture & video so sharp.

regarding to key: nokia know very well how to make money,imagine if this 6260 is from NEC,u may wonder what's going on with them,huge size, heavy, small image display for its camera... ppl buy it coz it's Nokia, the brand influence, they buy it coz it's the 1st turn-around flip model from Nokia,i'll rather get myself a 6670 or for almost the same price.i admit that Nokia is a gd phone for it's features & man-machine interface, but not for 6260, sorry for saying this key, this is what i feel after playing with it(i'm on cellphone retail)

This will give NOKIA a reason to come out another model to correct this short coming..... NOKIA are not stupid in design but they are GOOD ENOUGH to create imperfect to suk your MONEY >>>> "juz don't like it. how come the option buttons are built on the upper flip? troublesome when pressing the key-pads!"

juz don't like it. how come the option buttons are built on the upper flip? troublesome when pressing the key-pads! this has spoilt the nokia's well-known user-friendly interface! 1 more thing, the flip isn't that good, it seems going to break from the twisting joint easyly,scarry man...

My dad bought this fone and i personally think it was not worth any of his money, i had a look at it, yeh sure its nice to look at but totally bulky and heavy, the buttons are annoying to use, especially when txing, overall a decent fone but it really cant compare to the best fone on the martket at the moment, the infamous Samsung D500, absolute marvel of a fone and i should know cos i have it, marvellous. :)

if this phone can last for less than a week despite this is a Symbian phone.. most symbian phone can't last that long.. my 6600 can only last for 2 days or so..

for what i know , this phone really rocks ! but for 1 major problem the volume of the ringtone (mp3) really sux.. it is even softer than nokia 6600..

It sure stands out from all the rest of the phones from Nokia due to its innovative flip - normaly symbian interface...no problems here. Too much wasted space on the keypad and the idea of placing the menu key on the top end of the flap might cause the flap to break with time and usage since its not very stable to press. Would have been better with a Megapixel camera and maybe a bit smaller....

Can you name me a smartphone that DOES last more than a week? In any case, battery life is very subjective. It depends on how much u talk, bt use, network conditions, etc...

Something very different and unique from the rest of Nokia phones. It may not have the megapixel but VGA 640 X 480 is pretty good. All the new nokia symbian phones does not have infrared but this 6260 have both infrared and bluetooth, furthermore with the intagrated radio, window, words and full chinese/english dictionary, etc..
Recommneded: Good Phone because it's cool and it stand out of the rest nokia phones.
