Today Nokia presented three new mobile phones, the Nokia 6267, Nokia 3500 classic and Nokia 6121 classic models.
The Nokia 6267 is a quad-band mid-range clamshell phone with 3G and video calls support. It boasts dedicated multimedia keys, an enhanced music player, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera. The handset will have support for MicroSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 4 GB. The handset records video in VGA resolution and has a miniUSB connector plus a standard 2.5mm audio jack. The Nokia 6267 is based on the S40 user interface and features a 262K color TFT main display with a QVGA resolution and a secondary 262K color one with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The expected retail price of Nokia 6267 is around EUR 240.
The Nokia 3500 classic is a mid-range tri-band GSM candy bar phone with everyday use features like FM radio and a 2 megapixel camera. It has a phonebook with a capacity of 2000 contacts and connectivity-wise features a miniUSB port and a 2.5mm Nokia audio/video port. Being a lower mid-range solution, the Nokia 3500 classic offers a 262K color TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and it is equipped with microSD card slot. The nice thing about it is that it weighs only 81 g and is only 13,1mm thick (which is not bad for a Nokia handset). The Nokia 3500 classic is expected to retail at around EUR 135.
The Nokia 6121 classic is mid-range candy bar Symbian smartphone with S60 User Interface. The 6121 is pretty much identical to the already announced Nokia 6120 classic both in design and features. It has quad-band GSM and 3G HSDPA networks support and is only 15 mm thick. The 6121 clssic has a 2 megapixel camera with panorama shooting mode plus a secondary video calls camera. Memory-wise it has a microSD memory card slot with support for cards with a capacity of up to 2GB. Again, it features a miniUSB port and a standard 2.5mm audio jack. The expected price of Nokia 6121 classic is around EUR 260.
All three handsets will be available on the market in Q3 2007.
Quote: "why does nokia always release new phone models frequently?? almost every week.. that's why other nokia phones are getting phased out easily.. just like the n70 which will become phased-out very soon.." Mate... The N70 has been phased out...
