Yes it will work in Canada, because we also have a GSM provider called Rogers that works with sim cards, if your phone is unlocked it will work.
guys i've seen it live, it's very impressive. seems a little big at first but u get used to it very fast. does anyone has any idea (first hand) of the battery life? i've read reports of only 24h (battery low warning) of heavy use.
hello no name guy, i checked some sites other than nokia.sg and found out that 6270 was cancelled in singapore. for instance this site,
I want to buy Nokia 6270... I live in UAE and will be migrating to Canada very soon... Will it work there? Please advise me?
Currently, i have a Nokia 6230 and its giving me a lots of problems.
For the guys that lived in singapore and wanted to get one of the 6270.. u can order via thailand or malasia ... cuz the price in thailand is very cheap... its 14800 baht in thailand .. which is only 350 us dollar /.....
but can u order it in singapore? in my case it will never be available in canada, so i just ordered it. Ebay, powersellers? no? cause there are pretty much the same price. there have real good feedback
hello, desperately, how are u so sure that it is not coming to Singapore? any other sources? besides the not being listed in nokia sg website.
To all 6270 owners.. anyone knows if there are any FINLAND made 6270's.. all the people i hear from who has this phone, they always say its MADE BY NOKIA which is the China Market..
maybe the silver one.. uhhmmnn.. let me leave it to you guys.. PLS HELP!
this is for (desperately seeking) hey maybe NOKIA has a different plans for you guys.. that's why they didn't put that out there.. Wait for the 6280 you might like it.. 3G.. and yeah you think this phone came out in the US.. i don't think so! NOKIA USA has the worst market here.. we have the ugliest and suckiest phones ever.. you guys are lucky in asia and europe you get the good ones..
SO CHILL OUT!!
thanks Dreadnought, but i think i should have rephrased my question:
1600x1200 is the highest setting, but have you found any other combination of settings to yield better picture quatlity? (eg. like lower resolution + basic quality is better than setting everything to the max?)
i am so jealous with anyone who is holding on to 6270. cant wait for it to arrive in Singapore.. BUT THE PROB IS THAT IT WONT BE COMING!!!
does anyone knows any resonable reason why is this so??? pls give me a logical reason for me to cool down....
Cover is not changeable, 1600/1200 should be the highest, yes.
Does every Nokia 6270 have this 1mm gap thingie?
what are the settings have you found for the best photo quality? (image quality = high, and 1600x1200 ??)
very slow move when opening memory card's file but i still love this fone so much.
the loudspeaker is very loud.
is the cover exchangeable?
I tried the video yesterday. You almost need a tripod and move VERY slowly for the image to come out nice. The photo quality is good.
I had a Motorola and recently a Samsung E715. It's an adjustment going from a smaller and lighter phone to this Nokia. I am happy with it overall, just will take some getting used to.
One question for those who have this phone. When you press 1 to access your voice mail, and then hang up; do you get an message alert (that is empty with no content in it) after you hang up? It's driving me crazy. I just checked my voice mail and I do not have any more messages. If so, does anyone know how to stop it???? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have the same gap in the slider. Doesn't bug me. I dropped it on the street getting out of my car (slipped out of my hand) and got minor scratch on metal by send/end call buttons. So upset, as I've only had the phone a few days!!! Ce la Vie.
gwapz--yes, by sliding up = answer phone. slide down = hang up. and you can even turn these options on or off.
fred--yes, you can autolock the phone: menu->settings->phone->automatic keyguard. and you can set the amount of time before it locks. 5 seconds, 1minute...whatever you want.
