And to answer the question which was asked previously.
Nokia is from Finland. SonyEricsson from Sweden.
Those two countries are neighbor countries.
The Nokia 6280 is available on 3 only in the UK, but will be available soon on Orange and T-Mobile. I have been informed by my supplier that I can get SIM free stock end of February early March.
Well - on the Carphonewarehouse the Nokia 6280 phone has been removed from Latest Phones and is not on the Coming Soon file either.... Have they decided not to sell it anymore????
Hello every one.
I had a question about 6280:
I've heard that 6280 works on a S40 OS(Operating System).
Is that true?
if it's like that, then can we install applications on this phone or not?
what is ACTIVE STANBY mode? can i use the media player while the sim card is not insert? is tat means active stanby mode?
Im am from Denmark, and today i've recieved a mail from Nokia who tells me, that the first Nokia 6280's right now a delivered to their shops. In the introduction period, only the 3-shops (Hi3G) will sell them :(
Quick Question guys and girls. Will the Nokia 6280 sync with outlook? E.g for calender etc?

i29R: As I wrote before. I phoned Nokia Poland and they told me that it will be available on 09.03.2006 :( Quite a long time unfortunately.
You guys know in which country NOKIA mobile industry actually was born!!? Ive asked around quite a few chatrooms with this question but i seldom get the right answer;)
well it's definately out here in uk mine arrive today and is on charge, I've had it as an upgrade from from 3 with some half price rental and cashback my sisters is due for delivery tommorrow but i'm still not sure what I think of it.
ok, let's just sort something out here...Im from australia and it is quite obvious and well backed up by many that those in the UK seem to be getting this phone 'as an upgrade' option. Now nokia have NOT officially released this phone, yet ppl are coming on this forum and boasting about how their 6280 'just arrived'. Is the release date global and if not, does the release of this phone in one country signal the imminent release in other countries? Would love to know the answer to this...I was advised today by a 3 staff member in melbourne that it has been held back by NOKIA so as to not flood the 3g market with too many nokia phones, especially in light of the release of the N-series phones (N70 and N90). I watch this forum every day and it seems that no one really has anything solid to contribute regarding an official release date...and that's not our fault, i know. But let's make a concerted effort to lay into Nokia inquiry hotlines, 3g provider customer service lines and whoever else we can so that some authoritative revelations can be made. I JUST REALLY WANT THIS PHONE TO COME OUT!
mine's just arrived, I know I should be thrilled but not impressed, much bigger that my daughters 6111 and no place to put a wrist strap which I always use, I know that's not important to many but to a busy mum it means I can clip it to many places.
