yo, wat a gwarn...this phone just caught my eyes and looks very interesting. I want to know if this phone camera is as grainy as how few of my friends say cause for what i read about this phone the canera should be good. Is the speaker clarity good? Finally, on your behalf what would you say about the phone, which would be a good ad for a buyer?
hey,Teddy....where are u from?..juz trying to figure out why there's still no sign of it in stores or on9?...btw i'm from malaysia.
Looks like it will come out late. At the moment Nokia staff is trying hard not to mess up the launch of the much hyped N95, and getting ready to answer to its numerous bugs. 6290 will probably be launched after N95 sometime in april.
Nokia salesman keeps telling me "coming soon"
Fed up to wait I decided to buy a 7390, but don't like the "toy" feeling of the phone.
If the new Samsung phones come early, I might want one instead of 6290...

Thank you for answers. On site http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-s60-3dfp1-en.shtml you can find changes of FP1. You can see
"File cache. Main problems of current 3rd edition devices are related to bad organization, integration of file cache, which causes programs being shut down against user’s will, it also slows down phone’s performance. Feature Pack 1 optimizes this function."
Please try to load several Java-applications simultaneously and say me how many can be run. Before (without FP1) only 2-3 Java applications can be loaded simultaneously.
1)yes user interface is faster then N73 etc..
3)At now,no incompatibility found with s60 3rd edition programs!
Please answer the following questions:
1. Is the user interface faster than in other similar phones e.g. Nokia N73, E61?
2. How many Java programs can be opened simultaneously?
3. Are there some incompatibility with software S60 3rd ed?
4. Are there some incompatibility with software which concern with disappearing the “Pencil” button?
5. Are there scratches on the screen from buttons as on Nokia N71?
