Screen cracking, phone freezing, the sound quality very bad (when on call), battery life very poor. These are only few problems that I encounter here in my store. Almost every fourth phone sent away for repair is 6300:(
i accidentally dropped my nokia 6300 to a height of about 1 metre today.. :(
which i just bought it last month... n i hav to buy new LCD.. which cost B$150.. this phone is sooooo fragile...
nokia 6300 is a really durable phone
its a good purchase and a really powerful piece..........till date i hav dropped it like a 1000 times and luckily its still intact. battery life...good, camera clarity....good, music and volume...too good.
The phone may be ugly, but it's not that bad. In my store we have only had 5 come back in the last year.

I have found that the PCSYNC option does not work correctly with this phone for contacts. The PCSYNC works for a few week and then the phone reboots and cancels the sync process after that, The phone neeeds to have its memory reflashed at the Nokia centre wehre it will work ok for another few weeks. I also had a replacemetn phone and the same problem occurred.

I'm glad I was able to assist. I hope I have proven that there are still genuine people in this forum...unlike imitators and others who keep finding negative things to say.
TO ORIGINAL JAMAICAN..
Hi, i'm not sure if u remember me, but i'm the guy that needed help once with wich phone i would buy, nokia 6300 or 6500 classic..
I bought the nokia 6500 classic for a very very low price, that is 100 euro, and it was a brand new one.. The reason was that there were a brand new store that opened and had special prices that day.
Anyway, i followed your advice about going to the store and tested both phones and i got stuck with the 6500 classic at once :-)
There are just few difference between the phones and they are actually very similar except the phones appearance.
I want to thank you for taking time that day for giving me some answers to my questions that i had..
Well, if you would need any help (in the future) with the nokia 6500 classic, then just send a message on either the 6500 classic "forum" or the 6300 :-) :-)
Thx one more time!
