I work in a mobile sales and I would still recomed this handset over anything else on the market. It is reliable and back to the old school nokia ways.
I have one and love it. x
To MOBZZY & DANI:
My phone DOESN'T heat up one bit. The most it does is get warm after continuous use...which is the case for EVERY phone.
It's unfortunate that you both have heating problems.
One thing I'm sure is that my 6300 is pure solid authentic Nokia seeing that I don't have any of the problems that most of you complain of.
well Mobzzy, 6300 must heat up becuase of the Battery then.
(just a guess)
The thickness of back cover and the distance between the battery and the back cover on both 6300 & E50 are same.
Its old phone now batterys weak the heating up is a issue metal does heat up yes although it isnt pleasnt during summer heat comes through keypad too
and Yeah, 6300 is still Number 2 in the Most Wanted Phones and best selling Phones list.
2 reasons why 6300 heats up:
1. Its slim and the Steel is THIN
2. The Battery is Behind the Cover
E50 is Thick so it probably doesnt heat up. 6300 is 11mm thin
