Whats the Latest firmware for 6300?
is it still V5.50 ?
(i just want to know)
thanks for the info... i got my brain all scattered hehehe.. it was the other way around - Asia has 220 and U.S has 110 - so i guess the charger i have is ok for the 6300 since i was told it automatically would adjust
I totally agree.nokia shud act fast on dis matter.dey need 2 provide d same quality thruout d world.i think most of d mobile company providing d same quality thruout d whole world.
well said OJ. 6300s coming from china suffers quality and they cant be compared with european makes.
Yes there is an official Nokia factory in China so there are indeed authentic chinese 6300s.
I came across someone with a chinese version and they told me the battery life was decent. The only difference between the chinese and european version is the screen quality, audio quality and less power consumption resulting in a longer battery life.
Did read that 6300 was prone to gettin scratched somewhat but mine has not a mark on her pretty lil body as my g/f did sew me a little velvet pouch that i does slip the sweet lil 6300 into ever so easily, also got a little finger loop at the bottom of this baby as she is a little slippery in the cold weather.
i've nokia 6300. want to use bluetooth headset. which bluetooth headset is compatible for this mobile. plz help me out.
re the made-in-china issue here, i believe that some are fakes and some are not. You just have to be extra careful and know where to buy. Most of the cels i have are made in china, but i didn't see any difference in the performance. i also had made in france or hungary. But, i believe that there really are some fakes phone from china. But, there are also made-in-china that are not fakes at all.
in ASIA we use "220" volts and in US they use "110" volts so if u plug the "220" volts to the "110" volts then obviously it won't work so you need a mechanism that is called transformer
i bought my nokia 6300 in asia.. since they use 110 volts there.. could i use my 6300's wall charger (ac-3u) in the U.S? (since U.S uses 220Volts?)
I'm glad you are back in the 6300 world. I hope you will enjoy your phone all the way.

I have to give my phone & battery full ratings. Yesterday morning I charged my phone and throughout the day I made and received quite a few calls, took a few photos and played quite a bit of music - yet 24 hours later my battery is still full.
People, even though I may not post something everyday, I visit this forum every day so need to say I have gotten scarce. Just as the 6300 theme song says: 'Always Here'
Yes, I agree with you, the sound quality is excellent. I have always admired the crystal clear stereo sound which the speaker produces.
i have 6300 just like 2 no if it can b used as
a wireless network adapter
My Vodafone branded black 6300 ( purchased in Australia ) has been manufactured in China as it is printed on the box and also on a sticker under the battery.
To be honest i can not find any fault with this handset, either in the construction or in the performance of any features.
The screen resolution and the camera picture quality is exceptionally good really.
