Good luck mobzzy and the 6300 does get warm during calls the side of your face gets warm when chatting for a while
since yesterday i am using 7500 prism, so far attended plenty of calls and it doesn’t even get warmer despite lengthier conversations unlike 6300. however regarding pros and cons about 7500 are going to be posted later after a thorough usage.

What mobzzy buys is up to him the prism is a wise choice newer etc good luck with prism and glad you read truth 6300 is just ok really
4G memory card doesn't work :-(
on Nokia homepage 4G memory card is not included but on GSM it shows that you can use the 4G memory :-(
To MOBZZY:
One person in here decided NOT to listen to the negative comments and when they purchased the phone they replied back saying they don't know what all the bawling is about.
If you went to a reputable vendor I'm sure you would have gotten a good 6300. Too bad that you gave in to 'hear say'.
My battery went dead at 6:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon so to run it down again, I charged it after 6 a.m. Monday and it finished Saturday 6:05 p.m.
I like this phone alot, I am prefer Nokias, however, my battery life is just "okay" not at all great, especially when i have the bluetooth on-only will last me a few days-3 tops.
Does anyone know if this phone works outside the US? I wanted to bring it with me on a trip to Europe and don't know if it would work-thanks!
i got fed up of negative comments on 6300, so i ended up buying 7500 prism today. seems good so far. well need some time to check on the battery durability. will post my comments in few day from now.
Not crazy an not fake nobody owns a name and i speak truth about the 6300 thats it.
@Original_Jamaican
After 6 days your battery is still going?
Thats Amazing......
An why give all the features and a poor battery if you just want to make an recieve calls buy a very old nokia but most people want to use the features nokia provide on 6300 an not be held to ransom that if you use them your battery will run out quick im afraid its a bad battery 8 people i know say same phones not to bad for a old phone just shame about the battery
You dont own name no copyright etc i have to say 6300 battery isnt good compared to my sony and motorola phones performances its bad.
Hey Hey I am in the habit of charging my 6300 every morning irrespective if it needs it or not, as somedays i do not use the phone at all.
So is there any opinions is this good or bad for the battery ??
At the moment i have in my minds eye the Nokia N82 as being a replacement for 6300.
I have the black vodafone branded version 6300 and have upgraded the firmware from v 04.71 to 6.01, I did it with a USB cable connection to p/c and the fone function is excellent with nothing lost at all and the calculator is working fine.
For the small cost this little 6300 cutie sure has giant features and seems to function as smooth as an expensive Swiss watch.
Who could realistically ask for anything more from a handset for so little cash in the purchase thereof....
@ OJ
how about comparing Motorola RIZR Z3 and this?
I've heard it take good picture(Motorola RIZR Z3)
so any comparing could do the job
thnx in advance!
The graphics of this mobile phone is excellent. But the camera is very bad.Although it has 2 megapixel camera but the quality of the photo is not good like that of n70.If photo is downloaded to this phone it looks very nice but the photo taken by this phone is not good like that of downloaded.
Battery still going at 5:05 p.m.
From Monday morning after 6 a.m. to Saturday afternoon 5:05 p.m. and still going.
to OJ
that means nokia is suffering QC on their products coming from different destinations other than europe. it even means that they are even using substandard materials. i thought nokia, no matter from where it comes its still a nokia. but now you have really educated me on this issue.
guys watch out when you are buying your next nokia model. look for the country of origin first before you even think of buying it. OJ your information is very valuable one.
My low battery is still going at 11:15 a.m. and I received 'One Missed Call'...reminds me of that horror movie I watched the other day.
If I didn't use any of the multimedia features I would have probably gotten 7 days out of it.
No need for me to complain about my battery.
