i'd say if you want a good looking fone and if you are going to use it for its primary purpose which is texting and calling this is good. one thing i like about it is its nice display. but its video recording sucks, very low resolution and couldn't play a decent video with higher bit rates, it lags. audio is below average i'd say. it is not a phone that you can push to the limit but still it has a reliable software that does not hang.
Anytime jamaican its a review site an your trying to help thats it it isnt a competition not everyone knows it all just because theyve had phones for ages yawn..its a 6300 review site thats it.
An it doesnt matter what or how many phones youve had in past who cares?were talking about the 6300 a different era it isnt a competition.
Some of what nokia say is misleading it isnt a competition its life original jamaican is only trying to help an replys to help to the best of his knowledge. Everybody makes mistakes.including nokia. With the battery standby time etc. So leave original jamaican alone he only tries to help.
To TICK FLOP:
Regardless of what you want to say my advice to the people are based solely on what I have experienced without problems.
You attacked me on being a copycat and I say you are being a flop.
Even if someone were to read something elsewhere and post the same thing back here then that is quite ok because the fact that people in this forum asks certain questions, more than likely it asimply means they haven't seen answers anywhere else.
Think before you post.
@ the jamaican fellow,
son i guarantee that i'm more experienced than you are. I've been using mobile phones since 1998. Till now i have used 27 different models and most of them are nokia. So don't think its you who knows it all son. There are a lot of people who knows better than you. Let me give you a piece of advice son. If you are knowledgable and experienced as you say you are you don't exactly have to USE a mobile to say whether its good or bad. And i'm proud to say that i have that ability. I read one of your posts about charging the battery. What you have done there is try to prove that the experts are wrong. Son, the battery used in this phone don't have to be charged 8 hours straight at the 1st charging cycle. The normal 1.5 or 2 hour charge is more than enough. And in another post you have told it is okay to plug the phone to the charger for 1 whole week. I agree there was such a statement but bare in mind that nokia don't put the very latest on their catalogues from time to time. Some stuff repeates for years. So if you were that knowledgable you ought to have known that son.
today i stuck my 6300 in my ass and tried ringing myself. it was good but i find the 6300
chaffs some what and hard to retrieve when the whole way in it was also nigh on impossible to tell if it was ringing when fully inserted. i tried the vibrate option and cum in my pants immediately
well done nokia
This phone is very good value for money considering the features and reliability thereof.
It is a little on the slippery side,So i have attached a slim 5cm black cord loop to the attachment slot at the base of this handset which i may slip my little pinky finger into which prevents any chance of dropping the phone.
This phone comes in the box with Battery BL-C4. There is a 128 mb micro sd memory card installed in the phone,
Wall charger and user manual included.
Hi guys, i bought this phone 6300 yesterday, i'm still trying to know all its functionalities, seems stylish and nice, but i have some question :
- i witness that the sound is not as high as it should be though i'm having the 5.50 version
-Does this phone contains the time duration after each call?
-Normally the phone contains 7.8 mb, how can i know that i'm using it instead of the memory card?
-The memory card normally is 128 mb, but in the phone it's 117 why?
please i would like to know , thanks for u're answers
The jamaican fellow gather opinions from other forums and present us from a different way like they are his own ideas. At some points he's telling things about this phone which are completely different from what Nokia (the people who makes the phone) says.
The 6300 doesn't support those formats out of the box.
There's a java program which reads PDF files called Mobile PDF.
I'm yet to see any for Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
Does this phone support Office Applications such as Word,Excel, Powerpoint, PDF etc.
I have heard that version 6 is out since January but it's still not available for my phone yet. We just have to exercise patience.
Not all 6300 get the firmware updates right away. It depends on your product code. Just keep checking back, you will eventually get it.
