Hi. I dont know why everyone is complaining about battery. Mine is fine. I love this phone. Its great.
TO ORIGINAL JAMAICAN
it is not the first time that you are answering to my comments. It's like you're always there to support nokia from "bad" SE.
Look, I used to have 5110, 6210, 6310, 3220 and my awesome 6230i (my favorite phone ever).
I am not a SE fun. I used to love Nokias menu and I still do. But! I just bought a W610 and although it's screen is averaged (176X220 resolution is not good. 6300 is the best phone in this category) and the speakerphone is not so good, I am satisfyied. And battery (950m not 860 like 6300) lasts 4 or 5!!! days and it has unbelievable handfrees. The menu is just ok.I am not fan of any company. I find K800 v e r y ungly and with slow menu. But you must agree with me in that: NOKIA must do something with the battery lasting. It is getting tiring to charge the cellphone every day if i speak a little bit more!
As a conclusion I would forgive the disadavantages of 6300 - it hasn't so many for sure! - if NOKIA could add a battery of 1050 mAH, then ok. I could be in love with this phone (and I am with the look!!)
many kisses to all from Greece
Hey, I bought it for 80 pounds from ebay. I like the phone, stylish, slim, fashionable and full of whatever daily needs of most users. congradualtios NOKIA!
I'm the user of this phone n i notice that the battery of this phone can't lasting for 3 days..It lasting for 1 day only..Unbelievable
Looks great, but does it read PDF files? I have the N95 but I want a smaller more robust phone for work and need it to read PDF files any clues? Thanks
adam quid is uk pounds guess what u been riped off on a 18mth con here u buy 1 u get 1 free thats how cheap it is o seen at 60 quid on pay as u go
If your wanting an every day phone, to text, to make calls, take a few pics then this is the phone. Easy to use, you can set the phone up how you want to. Downloading MP3's is a breeze. Nice big screen. Fantastic phone.
1 or 2 years contract, for free.
And without €240.- (dont know how much that is in $)
Oh yea and one more thing...for those who say this is a cheap phone...it's like $300 here in Canada...far from cheap! on the other hand I don't know if you euro's get these deals but if you sign a 3 yr contract it's free...that's all!
lol. I have this phone. It's great. You never have to pay for a downloaded ring tone or game. just go to diff websites on your home computer and download them then use the mini usb connector to load them to your phone. or just blue tooth it over from a friend! Only warning is to beware of diff service providers that lock the good features of the phone so they can make more money (those bas*ards)! lol
Ps. what's with the people that post a comment just to see their own typing? I'm guessing 12, 13 years old tops!
PPS what's a quid? Is that a dollar? lol
This is a cheap but fantastic phone the lads at Microsoft all have them, a must buy
this phone giving poor battery backup, befor purchasing you need to confirm batter details.
Its a sleek and slim user friendly found. I love it and would like to use it soon, Its a phone to have cos it has unique features u will enjoy when u using it.
I have owned this phone for about a month now and I also work for a Phone company.
I love this phone!! It has a slim and sassy design and has rather large buttons which are good for elder people and those who have trouble using the smaller keypads.
To those who are complaining about the battery, it is not made to last week on end without charging, like every other technology is needs to be charged regulary. Ideally a phone should be charged every night but I have tested the phone and mine has lasted approx 4 days, using the MP3 player occasionally and recieving calls. The quality of the battery is also affected by the quality of your first charge. If you do not correctly charge the phone for the correct amount of time and if the phone is not off in this process it may ultimatly affect the battery life.
I highly recommend this phone
